Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Jakarta, April 2025

On a bright day in Jakarta, April 2025, suddenly, extremely thick black clouds gathered and swirled above the Monas. Bolts of lightning struck with deafening thunder, making hearts tremble with their terrifying might. Residents and office workers rushed out of the tall buildings in the business district to witness this strange phenomenon live. Many immediately captured the event with their smartphones, turning it into content for their social media accounts. The police quickly secured the location to prevent any unwanted incidents, though some of them also recorded the phenomenon with their smartphones. Journalists arrived to cover the unique event and predict what would happen next.

While everyone was mesmerized, the center of the cloud formation opened into a terrifyingly massive black hole. "Grooooo," a loud roar emanated from deep within the hole. Suddenly, the inside of the hole began to spin rapidly, expanding until it covered the entire city of Jakarta, and even the world. However, a light wall, like an aurora, emerged from the hole, enclosing Jakarta and forming a colorful dome over the city.

A driver, in the midst of heavy traffic and talking on his smartphone, watched the phenomenon before him with wide, gaping eyes. Unconsciously, his smartphone fell, and he stepped out of his car. The reason was that the entire city of Jakarta was now covered by a clear, multicolored, water-like dome, with no one knowing what was happening outside. "Grooooo," the gaping black hole in the sky absorbed everything except the city of Jakarta.

All the inhabitants who witnessed this knelt, speechless, realizing they were at the end of an era. After absorbing everything with a roaring sound, the black hole began to shrink and eventually disappeared. The rainbow dome also began to open. The surviving residents wondered what had truly happened. They tried to find information through their smartphones and the internet, but there was no network available. A man inside a tall building stepped forward to a window and squinted his eyes.

"Aaaaaa... what is that...?" a man screamed, pointing outside.

Everyone in the building looked out the window. They saw several flying creatures resembling dragons with riders on their backs. People were suddenly terrified because the dragon riders had horns, scary faces, blue skin with long noses and ears, like demons. The leading dragon rider immediately raised his hand, and the dragon army behind him advanced, spreading out and beginning to fire upon the high-rise buildings, causing mass panic.

Besides them, on the streets, many blue-skinned humans wearing ancient armor entered and began killing the city's residents. Soldiers and police retaliated by firing their weapons. The scene in the city center and throughout the city looked like a war, except this time the enemies were blue-skinned knights armed with lasers and faces unlike ordinary humans. While everyone panicked, ran, and fought each other, six shadows stood tall atop the golden Monas.

One of the six, a man wearing a black cloak and hood, carrying two large sickles, wearing gloves, with a skull face and glowing red eyes, stepped forward. On social media, he was known as The Reaper.

"It seems it's our turn to show what we can do," he said with a terrifying voice.

A beautiful girl with white hair, pale skin due to albinism, and red eyes, stood with a male ghost wearing a general's battle armor and cloak from the land of the rising sun, complete with a helmet and a samurai sword. However, his body was shrouded in mist, and his face was covered by a mask with red eyes emanating from his body. On social media, her name was The Indigo.

"Yep, it's time to finish this. Everything is according to my predictions," the girl said.

A large, muscular, and fierce tiger-man wearing training pants stepped forward. His viral name was The Tiger.

"It finally happened. Everything was meant to be," he said with a terrifying voice.

A beautiful girl wearing a long-sleeved black jacket with a black inner layer, short black hair that didn't reach her shoulders, a mask, and bright blue eyes, stepped forward, twirling the two mandau daggers she held. Her viral name was The Phantom.

"Come on, everyone, what are we waiting for? Let's eradicate them," she said in a strange voice due to her mask.

A man with a not-too-large body stepped forward. He had large black bat wings and bat ears on his head, with glowing red eyes. He wore a black shirt, slightly neater than the others. His circulating name on social media was The Devil.

"Let's compete to see who kills the most enemies, as usual," he said with a terrifying voice.

A beautiful girl with pale skin and long black hair, wearing a black gown and floating in the air with both hands open, stepped forward. She immediately joined the others. The name given to her by netizens was The Undead.

"I'm ready... let's go," she said in a slow, terrifying voice.

"Mythical Warden... advance!" shouted the skull-faced man called The Reaper.

They all immediately leaped, disappearing from the top of the Monas and then reappearing on the highway. The six walked on a road full of burning cars, scattered corpses, and still-attacking enemies. In front of them was an army of monsters consisting of zombies, a type of blue tuyul (similar to goblins), pig-faced humans with large blue tusks (similar to orcs), blue-skinned knights (demons) wearing full armor and shooting laser-emitting spears, and black-winged sorcerers flying around and casting their magic, plus fierce dragon-shaped birds (wyverns) flying above them. Everyone turned to see the six walking towards them.

"Graaaaaah..."

The enemy forces immediately rushed brutally towards the six, but the six smiled.

"I'll go first..."

The Devil immediately flew using his wings and shot red fire beams from his palms, eradicating the wyvern army and the flying sorcerers.

"Shin, advance!" shouted The Indigo.

"Yeah!"

The ghost general immediately drew his sword and charged blindly, slicing through anything in his path at high speed. When he reached the center, he stopped and immediately exploded, eliminating everyone within a 500-meter radius, then returned to The Indigo's side and high-fived her. The Reaper opened his hood. "Haaaah," he opened his mouth and spewed his breath, and the entire army in front of him was trapped in a white, smoke-like mist. Then, he took several fiery egg-shaped bombs from his cloak and threw them into the mist. "Blaar... blaar... Aaaaaaaa," explosions and screams echoed within the mist.

The Phantom threw both her mandau daggers and moved her fingers. The two mandau daggers seemed to come alive, spinning and decapitating enemies they passed with lightning speed. The Reaper also threw his two sickles, and The Phantom controlled them. Two mandau daggers and two sickles seemed to dance, decapitating enemies. The Undead removed her head and threw it into the middle of the enemy forces. She illuminated the entire army below her with red beams from her eyes, laughing. The scattered troops immediately faced The Tiger, who was ready to take a deep breath.

"Groooooooaaaar..."

The Tiger roared; the wave of his roar pushed the entire enemy army back to the center and into The Undead's light area. Added to this were the red fire beams shot by The Devil, who had finished eliminating enemies in the air.

In an instant, the entire enemy force was defeated. Everyone gathered back in front of the Monas. The Indigo took out her sketchbook and began to draw. After finishing, she showed it to the others. The six were immediately stunned because what The Indigo had drawn greatly disturbed their minds.

"What is this...?" said The Reaper.

"I didn't predict this... their target isn't Jakarta... but the world..." replied The Indigo.

"So what's left of this world is just...?" replied The Tiger.

"The city of Jakarta... oh no..." added The Phantom with a funny voice.

"Damn it... everything is gone. That person really did it," said The Devil, clenching his fist.

"Friends... look ahead..." replied The Undead.

Everyone turned to look ahead. The enemy forces were re-entering the city, but this time their numbers were immense. In the distance, a leader was seen standing on a pyramid-like throne carried by several blue-skinned giants, like a king.

"Humans... submit to me. I guarantee the safety of your race..." said the king with a booming voice.

Then the king turned to look at the six standing before him. His face immediately broke into a sneer, and he leaned forward, with one foot on the front of his throne.

"You lose, you can't stop me hahahahaha....." he said with a booming and oppressive voice.

The six immediately prepared to face the countless army. Then The Reaper held The Indigo's shoulder next to him.

"Go... let me and the others face them," he said.

"But..." replied The Indigo.

"He's right, go... leave that king to us, you have to go back," said The Tiger.

"We'll be fine... go quickly..." added The Phantom.

"Don't delay any longer, we will protect you," added The Devil.

The Undead immediately walked towards The Indigo and hugged her, then held her shoulders.

"Save this world, only you can, and trust us..." she said with a smile.

The Indigo saw the look in her friends' eyes, they put all their hope in her. The Indigo bowed her head and finally nodded, looking at her friends. All of them immediately smiled and turned, then took their stances.

"Shin, let's go..." said The Indigo.

"Right..." answered Shin, the ghost general.

The Indigo got onto the ghost general's body and soared into the sky. Seeing The Indigo fly, Reaper, Tiger, Phantom, Devil, and Undead smiled.

"Well... it's been good with you all this time..." said Reaper.

"Same here, I'm happy to be with you all, especially you, Phantom," added Tiger.

"Later, after this is over, we'll be together..." added Phantom, hugging Tiger.

"Thank you everyone, we fight to the end," added Devil.

"I'm happy, I finally have friends like you, and we'll always be together," added Undead.

"Let's go, everyone," said Reaper.

The five immediately stepped forward. The king, seeing The Indigo fly, immediately raised his hand. The wyvern army immediately soared into the sky, chasing The Indigo, but their advance was halted because The Devil and The Undead were already in front of them.

"Your opponents are us!" they all shouted, running forward towards the enemy forces.

"Blaaar," hearing an explosion, The Indigo turned. She saw all her friends beginning to fight against the army that looked like a sea from above. Tears welled up but she immediately wiped them away.

"Faster, Shin!" she shouted.

"Right!"

They sped towards a house in North Jakarta. She landed and immediately went inside. Inside, a detective was waiting and opened the door.

"Quick, where are the others?" asked the detective.

The Indigo shook her head. The police officer's face immediately fell. Then, loud noises were heard outside. The police officer immediately pulled The Indigo inside.

"If you're here, you have to use that device, right...? Hurry, I'll hold them off here," said the police officer, raising his pistol and looking outside.

"But be careful, sir..." said The Indigo.

"Haha, don't worry about me, quick... no time left," replied the detective.

"Okay (turning to look at the general) Let's go, Shin," replied The Indigo.

They both immediately went up to the second floor and entered a room. Inside was a tube-like device. The Indigo immediately turned on the device and opened the tube. But as she was about to enter, "aaaaaaaa...." a scream was heard downstairs.

"Quick, Shin!" shouted The Indigo.

"Yes...." replied Shin the general.

Both entered the tube. A bright light began to illuminate the tube, filling the entire room with light. "Blak," the door opened. Several blue-skinned half-snake human creatures carrying spears entered, but their view was immediately obstructed by the glare. The Indigo turned to look at the ghost general.

"Shin, I'm breaking our bond. You are no longer bound to anyone, and you are now free. Find me... tell me what happened to me in the past and tell him to prevent all of this from happening. I'm sure my past self will trust you... save everyone, Shin," said The Indigo.

"Huh... why are you saying that, Amanda? I don't want us to separate, I don't understand?" asked Shin.

Amanda didn't answer. She opened the tube and stepped out, then closed the tube again and walked to the console. She pressed several buttons, and when she only had one button left to press, "Duk... duk... duk.." Shin was seen inside hitting the glass, trying to get out of the tube. Amanda smiled at Shin with tears streaming down her face and pressed the button. Instantly, the tube emitted a brighter light than before, and Shin disappeared. Amanda turned to look at the creatures who were still covering their faces. She pulled two pistols from her waist.

"Everything depends on you, Shin. I leave everything to you (sighing and wiping her tears). Our friends will gather again, yessss...." Amanda shouted, shooting at the creatures in front of her.

January 2000, Batu Raden Forest

"Bluung," a tube-like light appeared. Shin emerged from the light and fell to the ground. He got up and looked around.

"This... is the past?" Shin thought to himself.

He looked at Amanda's smartphone in his hand. He looked at the screen, and it turned out, he was back in January 2000.

"This... is when everything hasn't happened yet. They haven't even found each other yet, they haven't even been born yet... but they'll definitely come here. I'll wait for them here... Amanda, I'm waiting for you here," Shin thought to himself.

He looked around and finally sat cross-legged. He took off his mask and looked at the moon in the sky, tears streaming down his face. Unable to go anywhere, Shin continued to wait for the six young people he knew would definitely be there in 2023. The story returns to when everything had not yet happened.
