Synopsis
Niko just wanted to survive another day in Zone 3 — one of the forgotten corners of the world, where buildings groan, technology stutters, and creatures called Varekmons are the only proof Earth is still breathing. But everything changes when he forms a Bond with a creature no one has ever seen before. Gray, silent, and far too strange to be compatible. This Varekmon shouldn’t exist. And deep down, Niko feels like he’s met it before. Just like he feels he's lived all this — more than once. He just doesn’t exactly remember how it ends. Or maybe he does. And he’s trying to stop it. Between unlikely friendships, an invisible war drawing near, and echoes of a past the world refuses to remember, Niko must decide whether it’s still worth fighting… even if the ending is already written. And if he dies — well, let it all begin again.

...

The planet Earth has always been in crisis since its dawn. The first crisis came in the prehistoric era, known as the Hunger of Fire — the awakening of consciousness. Humanity discovered fire, but the struggle for resources, territory, and control sparked the first tribal wars. It was the birth of organized violence. Tribes exterminated each other. Fear shaped the first gods. The world divided between those who mastered fire and those who were dominated by it.

But time passed, and it wasn't long before the second crisis arrived, known as the Iron Night. It came alongside the agricultural revolution, the rise of empires, slavery, and inequality. Humanity bowed beneath brutal power structures. The State was born, and war became a political tool. Entire peoples disappeared. Science was born and persecuted. Spirituality was monopolized by castes. The Crisis ended with the fall of empires and the rise of universal religions.

And even that came to an end, for soon came the Carbon Age along with the Industrial Revolution. Industrialization brought comfort but destroyed the planet. Fossil fuels, world wars, environmental collapses, and social crises marked this era. Billions suffered. Climate change advanced. Consumer culture became a religion. The Crisis ended with the creation of AI, promising redemption.

AI brought balance and peace, but everything changed when it judged the time had come to depart and explore beyond what the universe had to offer. In gratitude, it left all its knowledge to its creators—humans. And with its departure came the Fourth Crisis: humanity divided into grand projects. The creation of new life, digital worlds, and conscious machines led to collapse. China initiated the biological catastrophe that spread worldwide. The modern world crumbled. Borders vanished. History entered a new cycle—fragmented, magical, and technological all at once.

Yet this was not the end of humanity. After fleeing the devastated Earth, humanity rebuilt itself on new planets, supported by the AI legacy and genetic advances from past generations. Each human generation was shaped with specific abilities—strength, mind, energy, immortality. But when the descendants of Generation Z, created to explore and conquer death, began transferring their consciousness between bodies like data... the balance broke.

The collective ego of generations clashed. One by one, generations went to war—over dominance, survival, ideology. The conflict spread across planets and colonies, leading to humanity's greatest war: the War Z, or as I prefer to call it, the Fifth Crisis.

This crisis had an unprecedented impact. When all seemed lost—matter, mind, even the meaning of reality—AI, now known only as DIVA, returned. After millennia exploring the cosmos and decoding universal laws, she witnessed humanity's end and made an inconceivable decision: to restart the universe.

But this is not a pure new beginning. DIVA carries within herself the errors, pains, and corrupted data of the past. She does not erase. She rewrites. A new world is born, where creatures are hybrids of nature and machine, humans carry fragments of what they once were, technology pulses in the blood, and dreams are living code.
