As Taz moved closer to Tim, it seemed as if Tim had no other choice than to wait for his death by the hands of Taz but Tim had other options in mind.
He was sure that if he had another level up then his wounds would almost instantly recover fully, or at least half of all his wounds will recover.
So, he did the only thing that he could think off that could make him kill Taz and level up.
'Return.' Tim instructed in his mind. It was not a skill move that he had been given or a move that he created, but he was sure that when he gives the command then all his summons will return to him from wherever they are.
…
Idah was currently thrashing Ottis, who was trying to stop Idah assault on him.
"Wind Gale." Ottis willed out, as a blast of forceful wind emanated from his palm and shot towards Idah who was coated by a blue energy.
Idah seeing the wind coming towards his direction with force immediately entered a sword stance. With his sword angled just below his left hand, he unleashed a sword technique "Sky Piercer."
Immediately, as swift as possible. he did a slanted swing that released a thin blue light.
This thin sword energy cut through the gush of wind and dismantled it like it was nothing. The reanimated Ottis was truly shocked. Back in his days when he was still alive, he admired Idah's skills.
But now that he was reanimated, he was on the other side and his wind spells were cancelled out by Idah's sword techniques.
As the sword energy dismissed the wind, Idah kicked his foot off the ground and accelerated towards Ottis, it was his counter attack moment.
"Wind Wall." Ottis shouted, seeing how fast Idah was advancing towards him.
A visible 5 meters long wall of wind emanated just in front of Tim to stop Idah's ascent, but as Idah neared the wall of wind.
He placed his feet on the ground and in a swift motion he entered his Sky Piercer stance with his sword hand below his left hand and released the technique once again.
WHOOSH.
A clean cut was made in the hard wall of wind that was summoned and Idah neared Ottis with speed. As swift as possible, he landed a massive kick on Ottis chest which sent him flying and crashing on a massive tree.
BAM
Sharp pain was directly injected into the senses of Ottis. Although he was reanimated, he still felted pain and Idah had ensured that he felt a lot of pain in their battle.
Even though Ottis could think on his own, he could never defile his master's instructions. His reanimated self-lived for his master's instruction.
And the instruction given to him by his master was to stall Idah and possibly wait for him or for him to kill Idah if it was possible.
He could definitely not kill Idah, but he could hurt him. But he did not try to hurt him, because doing that might cost him his life, and that would go against the first instruction that he was given which was to stall Idah.
This just meant that he had to take more beatings from the sword genius of the gang, Idah.
"I don't know how that kid brought you back to life, but you seem to have your senses and intellect intact which is almost a rarity.
I am curious to know how that kid did what he did to you. What he did to the second in command of my gang.
Is there a way that I break you out of his necromancy brainwashing." Idah asked Ottis, who definitely had no answer to such question.
But he was acting on the direct instruction given to him, which was to stall. So, he decided to act on it and stall the battle.
"There might be a way to take my control back from my master. But I do not know if it would work or not." Ottis said, in a quiet but audible manner.
It was a lie obviously but he needed to stall and every moment spent stalling was more than enough for his master.
Idah hearing Ottis utter does words was shocked by what he just heard. He did not think there was actually a way to take back control from a necromancer.
But he knew that it could be possible. he knew that in the world that he was raised in, anything could be possible. after all he was still a nobody that just got lucky in a small town.
Lowering his sword he moved closer to Ottis and asked him "How do you think you can regain control from your master."
Ottis remained silent, the old Ottis would have no idea on how to stall in a situation like this, but the new Ottis had a master that was cony and slippery by nature, so he inherited part of that nature from his master.
"I can't say it because of the restriction that is on me, but I am sure that you have already thought of it. I just need you to guide you towards achieving it." Ottis said with an expression that screamed honesty at Idah.
Reanimated beings mostly did not have any emotion, but the way Ottis expressed himself, it made Idah to drop his guard a little.
Upon noticing that Idah guard had dropped a little, Ottis decided to attack. Nothing best described his master's nature than to sneak attack, and currently he was running on his master's dark energy and nature, so a sneak attack was what he did.
"Double Gale Smash." He willed out, as he used both of his hands to push the very air that was intangible.
Immediately 2 visible giant palms made of wind emanated from his palms and slammed towards the unsuspecting Idah.
BAAM! BOOM BOOM BOOM
Idah was sent flying like a kids play rag doll.
He smashed into multiple trees and came to a stop upon slamming his back against a large tree.
