Anna
"beep"
" beep"
"Beeeep!"
All I could hear were loud beeping sounds and distorted whispers. I tried to open my eyes but for some odd reason it felt really heavy like my eye lids were sealed shut. My fingers twitched and I noticed I couldn't smell anything more like something was covering my nose. With great difficulty I forced my eyes open and the that was when I saw it. I was surrounded with pale blue curtains and so many lights away although they were deem. "She's awake!" I heard a voice say. Let me get the doctor.
Why was I here?
I asked myself. My head felt like it was dull and dizzy or maybe heavy. Soon the door to the room burst open again and my attention turned towards it. It was a lady in white and following behind her was also a man in white . He has a glasses on the bridge of his nose and a stoic expression on his face. The nurse was a complete opposite of his reaction. She looked overjoyed and seemed like she was the happiest in the room. Well for some odd reason I liked the doctors expressionless face because I like hiding my emotions from showing too. "Hello miss" he spoke "what is your name?" Anna I said with a puzzled look. "What is your mother's name?" He asked furrowing his brows.
"My mother ?" I asked trying to raise my hand to my head because suddenly his question brought me a headache. And for the life of me my mothers name seems to have disappeared from my memory for some odd reason.
"What happened to me ?" I asked genuinely confused. The nurse who stood by his side clutching some files stare at me and then glanced at the doctor who looked like he had aged faster in five minutes. "You were in an accident ...but that is not the problem right now... Your situation seems pretty normal but in cases like this. It seems you have suffered a concussion, can you remember what happened in the accident?" He asked again. "I gently shook my head. He sighed and then said "well you were in an accident with your mother and she is still unconscious but the baby is okay" he said. His gaze continually fixed on my eyes as if waiting for something odd to happen. Then he raised his hand to my face and I saw a small torch he was holding. He flickered the light across my eyes and I squinted....he then held his other hand up and said "how many fingers do you see miss Anna?" He asked wit a serious face. "Two" I answered and the nurse by his side looked pale at my response. "Miss Anna I held three fingers up and not two. Normally werewolves don't have this reaction this bad but yours is different." He paused maybe to study my reaction. Then he continued. "You would be under our observation for now until you remember something useful or hopefully your mother wakes up because from the information we gathered in the data base of your pack she is your mother. " He then turned to the nurse to give her a signal with his hand. Then he got to the door opened it and left. The headache I was feeling slowly stopped but I felt very weak. The nurse adjusted the IV line on my hand and and then injected something into it. Slowly I noticed I was losing consciousness and I had no idea of what happened or where I was.

"Leave me alone" I screamed but the man was to strong and continue to pin down to the floor. I struggled to get out of his grip but it was fi and left no room for escape. I was in a dimly lit room and I noticed there were other kids my age. Some looked between the ages of ten and eleven and they all had a strange chain on their neck. Their eyes were open but they look docile and barely reacted to how I was being treated. It struck me as odd. Was this normal? How could kids be so used to violence that they barely reacted in the face of danger?
Then I noticed something, their legs was chained and each chain connected to each other just like... Slaves.
As I was deep in thought I failed to notice when chain the others wore was now fastened on my neck. I tried to speak but couldn't. I tried to make a sound, any one at all but it seemed like nothing was working like I was being forced into silence. I just stood there in silence and just staring into space. Hoping. Waiting, and praying that someone , anyone at all came to save me. Tears trickled down my cheeks and I wondered if I would ever see parents again. I closed my eyes and suddenly I heard my name being called "Anna!"
"Anna!!"
The voice continued to scream. And it sounded familiar. Different distorted sounds followed. Soon my eyes flutred open and I noticed I was in a room with blue curtains and suddenly all the memories of the accident and my mother came rushing to me. Then I remembered what I just saw... So it was a dream. A bad night mare in fact. I looked around and saw my mother on a wheelchair in pale blue hospital gown with two nurses by my side holding me down to the bed. Why were holding me? Was I mentally unstable now?
"What's wrong?" I asked them. " Why are you holding me like I am a violent person?" I asked looking at them with irritation. My jaw clenched and my eyes twitched. "Sorry miss you wer...." She didn't get to complete her statement because the door burst open and ths doctor came in. "Why is she here ?" He asked the nurses while gesturing at my mother. The nurse looked hesitant as if thinking of a response to come up with but I beat her to it. "Can my mother not see me?" I questioned he tried to put up a smile that looked more of a smirk and made him look like a ghost. He should definitely stick to frowning. His smile was scary. "No miss Anna I was just making sure you are okay and your mother too is not in the best condition to move around because she woke up only a while ago." He spoke trying hard to sound calm but I could see the storm raging in his eyes."please escort the lady back to her ward" he gestured to one of the nurses who suddenly was docile in the presence of the doctor. Throughout my conversation with the doctor my mom remained silent and just stared at me. She looked confused , tire or maybe even lost. I am sure the accident has shaken her up too. I just remembered that I was supposed to be at the academy today. But now none of that mattered. Now that brings me to the strange dream although it was clear I could no longer remember every detail as time passed, but I certainly know I was kidnapped in that dream. But it felt real an now that I could think straight, I couldn't remember ever being kidnapped. And yet it felt like a memory and athe same time it wasn't. But one thing I was sure was that I was the girl in my dreams.
