"Boss, where are we going?"
Ferdinand looked at the intersection he had passed for the third time and finally couldn't help but ask.
Although luxury cars are great, driving them too much can get boring.
John's thoughts were interrupted. He glanced at the box casually thrown on the seat and said, "To Hell's Kitchen."
Savin, who was following behind, saw the car change direction. He didn't follow immediately but took a different turn, drove a distance, and then stopped.
John saw the car behind disappear. He extended his left hand, and his wand slipped out.
He gently tapped the glass.
The Super-Sense Spell activated.
He saw Savin get into another car and meet him again at the next intersection.
The two cars drove side by side.
This road was sparsely populated. In the blue car Savin was in, a short-haired Asian woman was driving, gradually closing in on John.
Ferdinand honked the horn frantically, rolled down the window, and cursed, "Do you sleep that close to your father, you moron!"
This seemingly road-rage behavior enraged the female driver, who violently yanked the steering wheel.
"Fuck!" Ferdinand was startled and quickly controlled the car's direction.
Muttering curses, he yanked the steering wheel and crashed into the blue car.
The car door was deformed. The two cars sparked and flashed as they scraped along the road.
"Boss, hold on, watch me kill this piece of trash!" Ferdinand slammed on the brakes, falling behind, and then accelerated, ramming the front of his car into the rear of the blue car.
The blue car was pushed forward, accelerating, and the female driver inside hit her head on the steering wheel.
Looking up again, an orange-red light on her head repaired the dented area.
The female driver's eyes held killing intent.
Savin kicked open the car door, half his body sticking out, showing a sinister smile to Ferdinand.
Ferdinand sensed something was wrong. Savin leaped out and landed on the car hood.
Extending his left hand, which was glowing orange-red, he punched the glass.
A crack appeared in the windshield.
"Oh—!" Ferdinand let out a strange cry in fright, but his hands were not slow.
He violently turned the steering wheel, trying to shake the person off.
But now it was the female driver's turn to counterattack, blocking Ferdinand's path and preventing him from overtaking.
Savin punched again, his right hand's five fingers melting the car roof to grip it tightly, then punched the windshield repeatedly with his left hand.
Ferdinand glanced at the calm John in the rearview mirror, gritted his teeth, and slammed on the brakes.
The force from the sudden brake caused Savin to be flung out, landing on the ground and rolling over a dozen times.
The blue car in front drifted sideways and stopped. The female driver got out, looking fierce.
"Damn it." Ferdinand looked at the four hot fingers that had fallen from the melted car roof above his head and screamed in fright.
The fingers landed on his crotch, making him frantically slap at the area.
He finally knocked off the four fingers. The fingers that landed on the passenger seat caught fire.
John reached out and pressed on the passenger seat. A layer of frost formed on the burned-through seat.
The four severed fingers turned into icicles.
Ferdinand watched in astonishment as Savin got up and brushed off his clothes, acting as if nothing had happened.
His dented head and severed fingers grew back like flowing lava.
"What is that monster?"
Ferdinand's mouth hung open, forgetting even the large holes burned into his pants.
Savin twisted his head and walked towards the car. The female driver was also grinning sinisterly.
They were like big bad wolves with ill intentions walking towards a little white lamb.
Ferdinand's thick lips trembled. "What should we do, Boss?"
He was just a driver, not some kind of Super Hero.
Where is Iron Man?
Where is Captain America?
There are aliens here!
Ferdinand wanted to cry but had no tears.
John, however, still seemed calm. He slapped Ferdinand's shiny bald head.
It was like a basin of clear water poured over him, pulling him out of his panic.
"What are you?"
"Me?" Ferdinand hesitated. "A driver?"
"You drive, crash straight through them," John said flatly.
Upon hearing this, Ferdinand subconsciously said, "Killing people is illegal."
John said in surprise, "You used to pull out a knife in the street, and you're afraid of breaking the law now?"
Where's your old demeanor?
You need to perk up.
Ferdinand really wanted to retort that back then he just wanted to scare an ignorant young man; who would dare to actually stab someone? He was wrong; John was the one who actually stabbed.
"If you don't kill them, you might be killed by them." John leaned back in his seat, his right hand on the silver briefcase. He could clearly see the greed of the two people who appeared for the box in his hand.
"Crash through."
His voice was unquestionable. Ferdinand gritted his teeth.
He floored the accelerator, the tires leaving friction marks on the ground.
This car was still quite good.
It rammed into the two people in front, pushing them and crashing through the blocking blue car, galloping like a runaway wild horse.
Both the female driver and Savin were emitting orange-red light.
Ferdinand discovered in horror that the front of the car was starting to melt.
The high temperature affected the car.
Thick smoke poured out, directly blocking the view.
Ferdinand couldn't avoid it in time and crashed headfirst into a fire hydrant.
Water sprayed up into the sky.
The airbag deployed, hitting Ferdinand directly in the face, breaking his nose and knocking him unconscious.
As for the two perpetrators, they were hit by the falling water, their bodies steaming as they stood up again.
John saw that this person was really durable.
He opened the car door and got out.
He looked around.
Ferdinand was still competent; even unconscious, he hadn't forgotten to bring him to Hell's Kitchen.
The sky was getting dark.
Due to the explosion a while ago, the residents of Hell's Kitchen didn't dare to go home too late.
So there weren't many people on this street.
John casually picked up the silver briefcase. "Are you looking for this?"
Savin said, "Hand over the thing."
Hearing this, John threw the box over and asked, "Then what?"
"Huh?" Savin hadn't expected John to give it up so straightforwardly.
The female driver was also a bit stunned. She had never met someone who would do whatever they were told.
For a moment, the atmosphere was a bit quiet.
John sighed. "You want this thing but didn't say so. Now, the car is broken, and people are injured."
Savin paused. "Huh?" Was he the one who was wrong?
The female driver had gone from stunned to confused. She looked at Savin, her eyes asking if they should kill John.
They hadn't planned on leaving anyone alive anyway, but with John being so cooperative, wasn't it a bit unkind?
"You are indeed very smart, Mr. Wick." Savin picked up the box, took out chewing gum from his pocket, and put it in his mouth. "But I'm sorry, we cannot let you go back."
"I understand." John nodded in agreement. "Killing witnesses, these are your traditional skills."
"I'm curious, are you so skilled because you've done this before?" John asked.
Savin grinned. "We are all soldiers. This is just routine for us from the past."
They were all recruited from disabled soldiers to become experimental subjects for the Ultimate Creature project.
Those who couldn't endure became human bombs.
And those who could endure became people with super self-healing abilities.
"This experiment isn't perfect," Savin looked at the female driver's healing arm.
The previous collision had broken the female driver's arm.
Her breathing became rapid, and the red light on her body covered a large area of her skin.
Her expression showed pain.
"The Ultimate Creature, that is our goal," Savin said. "Your Father took the original Extremis Virus. This is the only hope of potentially completing the Ultimate Creature."
"So that's it," John nodded. "Is that why you allied with the Ten Rings to hunt down my Father?"
Savin didn't feel anything was wrong and said, "Your Father touched the interests of too many people. He shouldn't be in this world."
"A very good answer," John smiled. "Now I can act without burden."
Savin found it ridiculous. He spread his hands and walked towards John.
"Neither bullets nor bombs work," Savin stopped in front of John and said word by word, "I will dig out your heart."
"A very good suggestion."
John extended his hand, placed it on Savin's chest, and smiled. "Like this?"
Savin was dismissive, letting John place his hand there.
But the next second, his expression changed.
That hand was slowly passing through his skin.
Savin immediately reached out and grabbed that hand.
His palm emitted high heat, burning John's sleeve.
But the golden dragon scales under the sleeve completely ignored this high temperature capable of melting steel.
John tilted his head and said with a smile, "You shouldn't use fire to burn a fire dragon's scales."
His hand continued to steadily enter Savin's chest.
Savin started to panic. He raised his fist and punched towards John. Just as it was about to touch his cheek, it hit an invisible wall. His arm bone shattered, and it hung down.
The faint image of the Shield Charm flashed past.
John's eyes turned into vertical slits, his voice filled with amusement.
"If I dig out your heart, will you still not die?"
The Ultimate Creature?
John's fingers touched the beating heart.
I am the one who stands immortal above tens of thousands!
