Harry Osborn stared at the Green Goblin in front of him in sheer terror. The man looked exactly like his father—Norman Osborn—and for a moment, Harry was too stunned to speak.
The Green Goblin slowly approached, casually tossing a pumpkin bomb in his hand.
"I am your father, Harry. Why are you looking at me with such fear?" the Goblin said with a twisted smile.
"You're not my father! There's no way you're him!" Harry shouted in horror. The idea that the evil figure in front of him could be his father was something he simply couldn't accept.
The Green Goblin sighed in mock disappointment. "Forget it. I'll just send you to see your father. Then I'll deal with our dear little Spider-Man."
His words made Harry's blood run cold. Death seemed imminent, and there was no way out.
When the Green Goblin had first arrived in this universe, he was disoriented. He'd wandered the streets, trying to find the familiar silhouette of the Oscorp Tower. But the moment he located it, he realized something was off.
The presence of an Oscorp in this world meant only one thing—he had crossed into a parallel version of reality, not returned to his original timeline.
In this new world, Norman Osborn was still alive and hadn't yet become the Green Goblin. This realization made the Goblin determined to take over—eliminate the Norman of this world and replace him.
But just as he prepared to strike, something inside him stirred—his conscience. Norman Osborn's original personality began to reawaken.
The Green Goblin, after all, wasn't a separate person. He was the darker personality born from Norman's use of the experimental human enhancement serum—twisted, violent, and destructive.
His hands trembled. He stared at the bomb in his grasp, then glanced at the unconscious man on the ground—himself—and at Harry, who stood frozen in terror.
The Goblin's manic energy waned for a moment, replaced by confusion. "Don't be afraid, kid. I won't hurt you. What… what's going on? Why am I here?"
Harry was startled by the sudden shift in tone. He hesitated, unsure how to respond, but managed to keep his composure.
"The man on the floor… that's my father, Norman Osborn. You attacked him. Please—help him!"
While the personalities within Osborn battled for dominance, Harry took the opportunity to discreetly dial the police on his phone.
Norman sighed. He had noticed Harry's move but didn't seem to mind. Inside his mind, the struggle between himself and the Green Goblin was intensifying—a fight for control of their shared body.
He clutched his head in agony, knowing he couldn't let the Goblin win.
"I am Norman Osborn… but sometimes, I become the Green Goblin. He's my darker side… my curse," he said painfully. "I don't know how I got here or why this is happening. Just… understand that I am your father."
He tried to continue, but the Green Goblin inside him broke free once more. The inner peace shattered instantly as his body transformed again.
With a deranged laugh, the Goblin returned. "Hahaha! This power—it's mine again! I'm back!"
Harry knew instantly it was no longer his father. The Goblin's eyes burned with madness and cruelty.
Then, for a brief moment, Norman fought back. Summoning what little sanity he had left, he yelled, "Run! Find Peter Parker!"
He knew he had to protect Harry—and he couldn't allow the Green Goblin to resurface fully.
In a desperate move, he mounted his glider and flew off into the distance.
He didn't know where he was headed. He only knew he had to get away from Harry.
All he could hope for was to buy the boy enough time to escape.
Back on the ground, Harry finally snapped out of his daze. He picked up the phone and called for a doctor, still confused about why his father had told him to find Peter Parker.
Before he could think it through, the police arrived. Norman Osborn was a major public figure, and the authorities responded swiftly.
They surrounded Harry, understanding the seriousness of the situation.
Paramedics moved quickly to administer aid to the unconscious Osborn, while officers questioned Harry about what had happened.
Meanwhile, the Goblin—now fully in control—soared through the sky on his glider, trying to distance himself from everything.
He had no destination in mind, only the instinct to survive.
Suddenly, a large black shadow flew in from above. The Goblin turned, squinting up at the figure approaching him.
A bald man with mechanical wings hovered in the sky.
"Hey, Green Goblin," the man called out. "I know who you are. Name's Vulture. Want to team up and rule this world together?"
It was Adrian Toomes.
Toomes had quickly realized this universe was different. He didn't yet have the resources to thrive—no gear, no funding. But with Oscorp around, he saw an opportunity.
Vulture had once been an electronic engineer with a dream of flight. He'd poured his life into developing mechanical wings, only to be scammed by a corrupt businessman. The betrayal landed him in prison.
After his escape, his personality had changed dramatically. Donning his flight suit, he became the Vulture and turned his anger on society.
Now, he needed backing. And who better to exploit than Oscorp—and the Goblin who ruled it?
Toomes didn't expect resistance. If there was any, he planned to settle it with force.
But the Green Goblin wasn't interested in negotiations.
He tilted his head, smirked, and sneered, "Heh. You want my investment? Let's see if you're worth it."
His glider shifted with mechanical precision, a mounted machine gun emerging from its side. With a flick of his finger, he unleashed a hail of bullets at the Vulture.
Toomes immediately recognized the change in demeanor. He braced himself, veering upward into the sky as he activated his own weapons.
Drawing a high-powered laser cannon, he fired back at the Goblin.
Explosions lit up the sky as the two villains clashed in a violent aerial duel. The Vulture darted and weaved, using his speed and laser fire to match the Goblin's erratic and lethal assault.
It was chaos—fire and fury raining from the skies as two of the most dangerous minds collided in midair.
Neither of them was willing to back down.
