Chapter 11 - Dungeon floor

After another hour and a half, everyone was now nearing the destination they had started traveling to all this time.

Feeling the dungeon before him, Clark removed the barrier around them and said: "We're here, guys! See that open space in your sight? That's the place."

Hearing this, the seven exchanged glances at each other and said: "last one there, is a goblin butt," running against each other to the open area.

Looking at them, Clark couldn't help but chuckle for a bit before activating his skills [ Acceleration ] [ Blessing of the Forrest ] and [ Chase ], beating everyone else too and not wanting to lose against them.

Looking at their instructor beat all of them of their bet, they sped up more, not wanting to be the goblin butt; they looked at each other, forcing the last of their strength to run and finally making their way to Clark.

"That's amazing!" He said, looking at them stacked on each other.

"Who won!!" They all said in unison.

Clark looked at them for a moment before saying: "Tied. All of you got here the same time," he chuckled for a bit then said: "Meaning all of you are Goblin butt"

"So this is the place?" Nagi asked, looking around them; he found themselves in the middle of a crater filled with endless flowers in all directions.

Before them was a giant hole that looked like a manhole, emitting multiple colors of purple, red, blue, and black that spiraled against each other.

"Yep! This is it. This is the dungeon we'll enter." He said tapping the rune on his gloves, a moment later a basket appeared before his arms and said to them:

"We eat first before entering," putting down a blanket on the ground and pulling out the delivered food for them.

Eating the food they have received back in the temple from Ria. Mei looked over to the manhole and thought, "That looked like the mark on Raven's body"

Shaking this thought, she grabbed another sandwich from the basket and munched on it like the rest of the group.

After having their lunch, everyone decided to check their equipment one last time, making sure they didn't have a problem with them.

Nagi looked below his feet, looking at the knee straps, making sure they were held tightly; from the corner of his eyes, he spotted the most normal-looking flower on the crater.

Unlike everything else around him, they had unique traits and characteristics that either emitted energy from their petals, reflected the sunlight, or had different colors of petals.

The one he saw looked so ordinary; it only had three petals, colored in dark green, barely the size of his hand.

Seeing this, he plucked the entire group of them from their roots, having a total of 24 pieces of them. As everyone gathered near the manhole, he showed it to Clark, asking what it could be.

Seeing the flower handed by Nagi to him, Clark praised him for finding it. "Great job, Nagi. This is a material used for resistance potions; normally, you need to spend quite some time to make it. But for me, I just need to do this."

He said, cupping his hands together as the flowers were inside; a second later, a light emitted from his hand, and opening it, there were ten pills created from the flowers.

Giving one to everyone, he summons his status. A second later, an invite window appeared for everyone, asking to be a team; seeing that it was Clark who invited them, they chose yes, making them a team.

Since everyone had already eaten and rested for a good time and even had a resistance pill, he looked at them and asked them if they were ready; seeing everyone nod, Clark stepped to the top of the manhole, then sent down his mana to his feet.

A second later, arms appeared below him, grabbing everyone, scaring them, making them close their eyes, along with a sensation of falling in the air.

"Open your eyes," Clark's voice echoed around them; trusting his words, they slowly opened their eyes and saw they were inside a cave, falling.

Looking around them, they saw each other. Nagi looked around his surroundings and saw a drawing of spiders, pill bugs, centipedes, butterflies, larvae, and a crescent moon.

Clearing his throat and using mana to increase the sound of his voice, he said, "Welcome, everyone, to the first dungeon of the planet, Arisha!"

Spreading out his hand and wrapping them all in a soft slime mana as the floor was near them, creating a soft cushion that caught their fall.

As they fall inside the dungeon, torches from the wall begin to light up, allowing everyone to see.

The only one who was standing up was Clark, while the heroes were scattered around the area with their faces on the floor.

Standing up, Nagi realized they were in another area than before; even looking up high, he couldn't see the drawing he had seen.

Looking at his surroundings, he saw that they were surrounded by a dying forest.

The tree falling apart, spider webs on them from top to bottom, the smell of rotting fruits from every direction with a damp and moist environment and, most of all, cold air and darkness wrapping them entirely.

One hour after they started moving, so far everyone managed to level up by one, from slaying the monster they had faced on the road.

The first monster they meet is a giant larva over a meter long and high.

At first, everyone was hesitant to kill even one of them, but Nagi willingly volunteered to slay it, and everyone started to follow up with him.

Allowing them to kill the rest of the monsters, like giant butterflies, pill bugs, and spiders, although the fight so far has only been one-sided.

When seeing a new monster, the heroes rush over to it and take their daggers to stab it to death.

Right now, they are in an open area with tiny hills and valleys, unlike the flat forest floor when they first got here.

Looking around, Ritsu told everyone to get ready as monsters were about to come at them.

Hearing his warning, everyone prepared themselves and held tightly to their weapons, and Clark hid away from the sight of the monster, allowing the heroes of the Goddess of Tornado to grow on their own and bring out their potential.

Watching the monster appear before the heroes, Clark used his [ stealth ] skill to hide his presence and watch on the side.

The groups are split into roles, Ren and Yuki at the front, having already the skills [ Sword mastery ] and [ Spear mastery ], allowing them to fight back against the large group of monsters and being the group's damage dealer.

The three girls in the middle provide them with support with their skill [ Elemental ball ], killing groups of monsters in one go. This setting allows them to be safest as well.

As for the two, Ritsu is at the very back. Like the girls providing support for the two, Ritsu, with his slingshot with mana-infused rocks that act like a gun, would deal with the monster that managed to survive the attacks from the girls, killing them off for good.

Nagi looked over the entire group while running around the area, guiding them on what to do and using his skill [ Tame ] to gather the monsters around him.

Giving everyone else a clean hit at the back of the monster while Nagi received the attack and took the hit for them as they killed the monster.

Clark would only watch over a corner while they figured out how to win the fight and would heal them when needed.

If ever the heroes are put in a critical condition, where they cannot win or fight anymore, Clark would use large-scale magic to kill all the monsters and heal everyone.

Nagi is a tanker who taunts the monster while constantly giving out orders for everyone else to do.

Ritsu is at the very back, providing last support, killing the monster that survives both damaged dealers.

Ren and Yuki are at the front, dealing the most damage and making sure the backline is safe while getting support from them.

The girls in the middle are protected from the front and back while they cast their (ball-type) spell, killing groups of monsters.

This was the role of everyone as they took on the dungeon.
