The sky above the Iwagakure front turned ashen heavy with chakra and smoke. The ground rumbled beneath countless feet. Konoha and Iwa shinobi colliding in a brutal and sprawling warfront.
Explosions lit the horizon like lightning. Shouts and Jutsu raged across the valley.
Amid the chaos the name "Dragon of the Leaf" echoed through both sides. Raizen stood near the central ridge Mighty Fist and Hiruzen flanking him their breaths sharp in the cold air.
The Konoha commander a stern man from the Nara clan gave orders.
Shikaji: "Hold this line! Protect the medics! Raizen, push forward with the vanguard!"
Raizen nodded, eyes gleaming with resolve.
Then A monstrous ripple of chakra tore through the sky.
A figure descended from a stone platform shaped like a mountain slab. His very presence made seasoned shinobi tremble. Clad in layered armor with a stony aura around him Ishikawa the First Tsuchikage had arrived.
Ishikawa: "So… you're the one they call the Dragon of the Leaf."
Raizen: "You must be Ishikawa sama. First Tsuchikage "
With a motion, Ishikawa slammed both palms into the ground.
"Earth Style: Grand Devastation Wall!"
A towering barrier surged from the ground. Raizen met it head on.
"Wood Style: Piercing Vine Drill!"
Giant roots erupted from his arms spiraling forward and tearing through the rock. The Jutsu clashed mid air cracking with raw elemental power.
Their eyes locked.
Ishikawa: "Your Wood Release… it needs to be buried in history."
Raizen's aura shifted. Scales lined his arms his hands transforming into dragon claws. Two horns curved from his forehead. Steam radiated from his body like an inferno trapped in flesh.
The Tsuchikage raised an eyebrow. "A Kekkei Genkai?"
Raizen: "Maybe. Or maybe… something more."
He vanished with Soru appearing before Ishikawa with terrifying speed fists cloaked in Armament Haki. Ishikawa blocked with a chakra hardened Strong Fist the impact creating a shockwave that threw debris across the field.
Elsewhere, Sarutobi Hiruzen fought a Jonin with fire and shuriken, unable to assist. Might Fist grappled with another enemy, covered in bruises but refusing to fall. The Konoha commander parried three attackers alone, barely keeping his ground.
But everyone paused just for a moment as the air itself trembled under Raizen and Ishikawa's exchange.
"Beast Bloodline : Partial Transformation!" Raizen's tail swept outward, knocking Ishikawa off balance. He followed with Rankyaku a slicing wind kick which tore a trench into the battlefield. The Tsuchikage countered with a massive stone golem forcing Raizen back.
Still in hybrid form, Raizen inhaled deeply.
"Hot Breath!!"
A howling burst of superheated fire and ash exploded from his mouth, melting through enemy formations in the distance. Several Iwa shinobi collapsed from the heat alone. Ishikawa shielded himself with stone armor his eyes burning with fury.
"Stone Style: Pillar Titan Wrath!" A colossal stone avatar formed behind him, swinging down with mountainous force.
Raizen leaped skyward Moon Walk activated bouncing mid air to avoid the blow then dived like a falling star. His Armament Haki hardened his entire leg.
He struck.
The stone titan cracked. The ground split.
Both men leapt back panting their forces stunned.
Suddenly a roar of will exploded from Raizen.
Conqueror's Haki.
A wave of sheer pressure pulsed outward. Dozens of Iwa shinobi fell unconscious where they stood their bodies seizing under invisible force.
Even Hiruzen blinked in awe.
Hiruzen: "What kind of power is that…?"
The Konoha forces sensing the turn rallied. Iwa forces began to pull back. Raizen stepped forward slowly his body breaming with energy. Eyes like twin burning suns. This fight made him grow.
Ishikawa: "Hmph… you've earned your title. We will meet again"
As the Iwa forces retreated and the Konoha lines regrouped whispers began to rise:
