Episode 14
Scene 1 – Ren & Zeno's Room – Evening
(Ren and Zeno are sitting in their room. They look at each other but don't say anything. A quiet, heavy silence fills the room.)
(Slowly, Emi approaches the door, lowering her gaze. In a calm and remorseful tone, she speaks softly.)
Emi (softly, regretful):
Please forgive me... This is all my fault. If I hadn't taken you both there, you wouldn't have been punished.
(Emi's emotions overwhelm her, moisture wells up in her eyes. Trying to hold back her feelings, she quickly runs toward her own room.)
(Ren, his voice hurt and intense, hiding his pain, calls out loudly.)
Ren (hurt):
Emi...
(Zeno looks at Ren with sympathy but tries to remain silent.)
Scene 2 – Guild Corridor to Emi's Room – Evening
(Ren suddenly runs out of the room, his steps fast and heavy with emotion. Down the hall, Grake watches him silently.)
(Zeno watches Ren leave, then softly murmurs to himself, emotional—)
Zeno (softly):
Ren... no...
(Zeno hesitates, then quietly follows Ren with a storm of emotions behind his calm face.)
(Ren reaches Emi's room. The door is slightly ajar. He gently pushes it open and steps inside. Emi stands near the window, her back to him, looking out at the fading evening light.)
(Ren slowly approaches her and speaks gently.)
Ren (softly):
Mistakes happen to everyone... I can understand your pain.
(Outside, Zeno stops and silently observes everything from the hallway. Farther down, Grake watches the scene unfold with a blank expression.)
Ren (calmly):
Do you really think we're angry at you?
Emi (softly, eyes lowered):
I'm sorry, Ren...
Ren (with a warm smile):
You trusted us. And trust is never a mistake. So don't worry.
(A gentle smile appears on Emi's face, her eyes moist but comforted.)
Ren:
I'll go back to my room now. Stay happy, okay?
(Emi nods, smiling warmly. As Ren exits, he sees Zeno standing silently. Zeno looks confused, emotional, then lowers his head and quietly walks to his room. Ren watches him silently as he passes.)
(From afar, Grake smirks to himself.)
Grake (thinking):
Zeno... I've got my chance now...
(Just then, his roommate approaches.)
Roommate:
You've got a call...
(Grake nods. Both walk off to their own room.)
Scene 3 – Ren & Zeno's Room – Night
(The room is calm and quiet. Ren is asleep, breathing softly. Zeno lies awake on his bed, eyes open, staring at the ceiling.)
(Images flash in Zeno's mind — Ren's comforting words, Emi's sorrow, and then her smile.)
(A faint, emotional smile forms on Zeno's lips. A tear escapes his eye. As he closes his eyes, the smile remains — soft and heartfelt.)
Scene 4 – Kaen Voss's Office – Same Night
(Kaen Voss stands beside his desk, facing Mr. Kael. The only light in the room comes from a desk lamp and the pale moonlight through the window.)
Kaen Voss (seriously):
I want the biodata of Zeno and Grake again...
Something doesn't feel right about them.
Mr. Kael:
Understood.
(Mr. Kael turns and exits the office swiftly. Kaen Voss remains still, lost in thought as shadows deepen in the quiet office.)
(Scene fades.)
