Alex turned and looked at Owen, Zach, Gray, and Claire, his reptilian eyes glinting in the fading light. He considered whether to scare them—just a bit of fun—but ultimately, he decided against it. He didn't want to kill them, especially not Owen. He liked that guy from the movies.
As his severed limb finally completed its regeneration, the muscles twitching and reshaping into a fully functional forelimb, Alex gave one last snort before turning away. His heavy footsteps echoed across the blood-slick pavement as he disappeared into the foliage, leaving Owen and Claire dumbfounded, still bracing themselves for a final attack that never came. Gray just stood there, wide-eyed and awestruck.

Meanwhile…
As Alex slipped into the jungle shadows, he muttered inwardly, "System Interface."

Alex stared at his stats in thought.
The forced hybridization by Dr. Henry Wu had been a wild card—but it had propelled him far ahead in both evolution and power. Level 19 now, and with his bite force breaking new records, it was clear: if he wanted to upgrade further, the key was simple. Kill something stronger, or take the slow route by spending EVs.
That last option—Infinite Growth—it was locked now, but when it opened? He'd dump every point into it.
But that could wait. Right now, he had a more immediate goal.
Alex raised his head, tongue flicking through the air. He was approaching the aviary enclosure, the same one that had been shattered by the Indominus Rex earlier. He knew most of the pteranodons had fled... but not all of them.
Some were surely nesting, maybe resting, maybe too injured to flee. That was what he needed.
Wings.
He wouldn't waste months swimming to another landmass when he could take to the skies. He'd seen them fly. If he could harvest their genes, adapt, evolve...
Alex narrowed his eyes. This time, stealth was key.
Alex moved closer and closer until he got near the avian dome but there was a problem.the breach made by the indominous rex was too small for him to fit through now without breaking it and making noise so he knew that his stealth plan was now worthless so he took a few steps back then ran at full speed with his four limbs then pounced on the enclosure crashing through the glass dome scaring the pteradons with his entrance as they started to flee but as one of them was about to fly away Alex pounced and with a snap of his jaws he pulverized it blood spraying as he placed it down.Ding you have hunted a pteradon.pteradon DNa,detected do you wish to integrate.and without hesitation he accepted.then pain blossomed through his front legs as the bones rearranged and lengthened to wings with a 47.3m wingspan as then flesh followed as the bones were covered turning them to bat like foldable wings with claws at the front like a wyvern as they than folded allowing him to still use them like arms.but that wasn't all as his neck grew and his body adjusted to become aerodynamic as his tail slightly flattened while still maintaining its swimming capabilities then rudder flaps grew at the back of his legs for stabilizing flight.his eye sight also sharpened for increased perception.he now looked like a dragon.his figure was now more upright as his wings were folded acting as legs while his back legs were shorter than them .he then went to sleep there after eating the pteradon he had killed as the transformation was exhausting.
The shattered dome glittered in the morning light, shards of glass strewn across the aviary like fallen stars. Inside, the once-proud rulers of the sky had fled in panic, leaving behind a scene of eerie silence and one lifeless Pteranodon—its blood pooled beneath Alex's sleeping form.
Six hours passed.
The sun peeked higher over Isla Nublar's misty canopy as the mutated anaconda stirred. Alex slowly opened his glowing red eyes, blinking away the remnants of exhaustion. A low rumble escaped his throat as he stretched, the powerful wing-limbs on his sides unfolding like a great beast waking from centuries of slumber.
The transformation was complete.
His body now fully adapted to aerial domination, Alex looked less like a serpent and more like a living, breathing nightmare—an obsidian wyvern with molten crimson eyes and a sleek, predatory design. His wingspan reached 47.3 meters, folding compactly into his sides when grounded, but now… he was ready to test the skies.
"System interface," he commanded mentally.

"Perfect," Alex rumbled with satisfaction.
He crouched low, wings tensing as the wind rolled in through the broken dome. Then—with a powerful thrust—he leapt into the air.
The world shrank beneath him.
Jungle canopies blurred into a sea of green as he soared upward, catching the wind with instincts that felt alien, yet natural. He glided easily, his rudder flaps adjusting minutely, the bat-like wings tilting with finesse. He let out a guttural roar that echoed across Isla Nublar—half declaration, half challenge.
From the ruined visitor center, Owen and Claire looked up, shielding their eyes.
"That's not any dinosaur I know," Claire whispered, awestruck.
Owen, gripping his rifle, could only mutter, "That's not even a dinosaur anymore. That's something else."
Meanwhile, Monarch satellites tracked the anomaly in the sky. On Isla Sorna, dormant predators stirred at the distant cry.
---
Wind roared past Alex's face as he soared high above the jungle canopy, each beat of his wings lifting him farther into the skies. The clouds parted before him, and the island of Isla Nublar began to shrink behind him, its forests, paddocks, and broken domes now nothing more than fragmented memories below.
A deep, almost childish joy welled up inside him.
"I'm flying."
It was hard to believe. In his past life, he had never even set foot on an airplane, and now here he was—soaring freely on wings of his own.
No engines. No ticket. No metal cabin.
Just wind, instinct, and power.
Alex looked over his shoulder at the retreating island, his sharp eyes easily making out the visitor center and the craters of shattered glass in the aviary dome. He could have stayed. He could have slaughtered the remaining dinosaurs, hunted down every last human for their EVs… but he didn't.
"I'm a monster by body, but not by heart."
If he started killing people for points, for progress, then what was he? No better than the twisted experiments that created the Indominous rex.
As for the other dinosaurs—they deserved better. After everything they'd been through: the engineered wars, the betrayals, the massacre at the claws of the Indominous… they had earned a break. A moment of peace.
And besides… he was the one who led the Indominous there in the first place.
"I'll visit them from time to time," he thought.
He knew what was coming. The volcanic eruption. The chaos. The desperate rescue by ship. Dinosaurs being sold off like exotic pets and weapons.
He could stop it. Or let it happen.
He didn't like either option.
"Maybe I'll wait. Let them get rescued… then swoop in and free them all."
He smirked. The idea had style.
But that was for another time. For now, he had a more pressing mystery gnawing at the edge of his mind:
What was this world?
So far, he'd seen elements of Jurassic World, anaconda and overheard hints of Monarch but he had to confirm it,maybe this was a universe made up monstrous universes blending together like a stitched-together multiverse. This wasn't just one story—it was many.
A crossover.
He needed to find out how many worlds had been merged.
How many monsters were out there.
And most importantly…
Was he the predator?
Or the prey?
He flapped his massive wings again, climbing higher into the clouds, his sleek form blending into the sky.
The world had just met a new apex predator.
And the sky was only the beginning.
End of Chapter.
