I remember that soon we will encounter the squirtle squad from the anime. I guess planning to travel with ash for a bit really paid off as I can now catch a squirtle from the squad. It would be lovely to have a blastoise but if it does not evolve then I can just catch a blastoise from that island filled with sleeping wartortle and blastoise. I will have both a tank and an agile pokemon in form of blastoise and squirtle. Though it would be better if my squirtle that I am planning to catch evolves.
We were travelling with me planning my pokemon team when "Hey brock" I called brock out.
"Yes what is it Regina." He asked politely.
"Are you planning to take part in Breeder olympics" I asked. He paused at that, turned to me, grabbed my shoulder and began to shake me like heck.
"Breeder olympics! what is this Breeder olympics. What is it what is it what is it." He asked. My pichu was outside only playing with Ash Pikachu. On seeing my distress she immediately shocked brock though I was safe as Ash grabbed and pulled me away right on time.
"Thankyou" I said with a smile.
"Your welcome" He said while blushing a bit.
Misty was just poking Brock to see if he was okay while sighing helplessly.
"Ha deserved it." Misty finally said
.---Few moments later---
"Brock breeder Olympics is a competition to promote and give chance to breeder without any connections. It just started two years back only. One usually have to win three medalions from breeder conquest that is held in one of the city around region. Which city it will be held is usually updated in the breeder guild blog by the league. Winner get's one sub year of internship under one of the top breeders of the league. This year the internship is under Laura Fellet." I said.
"Laura Fellet!" Brock exclaimed.
"Uhh who is she?" Misty asked.
"She is one of the top two breeders of the Kanto region. She is responsible for the pokemon of elite four of Kanto region." I said.
"Well the next competetion is happening in Vermilion city if you want to know. one week later" I said while checking his phone.
"Ash we immediately need to leave." Brock said in panic.
"Calm down Brooo-" Ash tried to calm him down but suddenly we all fell in a hole "I didn't mean this suddenly." Brock groaned.
Suddenly we heard some laughter and looked up to see some Squirtles laughing at us. Then only officer jenny came and they all ran away. She got us out and in police station explained the squirtle squad situation on how their trainer's abandoned them and so they have formed a gang and are now causing mischief.
"How about we catch them officer." I said. They all just looked at me with a dumbfounded expression.
"Well I wish to catch a squirtle as a trainer seeing as they are super rare plus won't it be easy for you if all of them are relocated." I said.
" I want to catch one too. It would be nice to have a new family member right pikachu." Ash said
"Pikapi"
"I too would love to catch one. My dream is to be a water pokemon master and so am unwilling to miss this opportunity." Misty said.
" But their are 5 sqirtles. Two are still left." Jenny stated with worry.
" I would like to catch one." A strange voice came. We turned around to see misty sister Lily.
"What are you doing here." Misty asked flabbergasted.
----Time skip----
Lily then proceeded to explain that after losing from me and feeling how disappointed I was with the gym she considered many things. She actually really admired me as how even with all the mock towards me I did not loose my cool, so sensing my disdain definitely stung a bit. She realized that she never wished to be a gym leader. She loved taking care of pokemon and turns out that her mother pokemon were also trying to get her to realize that.
"I am sorry for laughing at your pokemon with my sisters. Sorry pichu." Lily apologized. We just accepted it not wanting to hold on it for long especially after seeing how genuine she was.
"I am planning to take part in breeder olympics so am heading to Vermilion town" Lily stated.
"Looks like you have another rival Brock." Misty stated.
Suddenly we heard a sound. We went out to see that team rocket have captured the squirtles.
"Kanto starters are rare, boss would definitely be happy with this catch.
"Go zubat, use steel wing on the net and butterfree use psychic to ensure that they don't fall on the ground." I said sending out zubat and butterfree. They did as I told them so and team rocket was not happy at all.
"What's wrong with you guys." Ash said.
"ummm the fact that they are criminal." I joked. Ash just made a are you done face at that.
"Go ekans"
"Koffing I chose you"
"Zubat air cutter" Ash sent out his sandshrew.
"sandshrew use mud slap" Both of them were knocked out at that ,while butterfree tied team rocket with string shot. I handed them to officer jenny and was given 10,000 poke dollars as bounty. Suddenly my pokemon began to glow. zubat had become golbat. Well it was about time anyway but can't say that I am total chill about it.
"You evolved golbat. Congrats." I said gently while smiling. We hugged each other.
We all then decided to approach the squirtle squad.
"Umm squirtle me ash misty and lily would like to capture you." I said while pointing to each one of us.
"You won't have to steal from anyone ever again and we promise to never abandoned you." I said. They thought for a bit before agreeing to it. They had heard everything we said in police station and could sense that what was told to them now was absolute truth only. We may not be their first but definitely will be their last trainers.
All squirtles were of elite class only. Just ash's one was of higher level. No wonder he was the leader.

Man am I lucky or whaaat. Though still one of them was left when.
"Squirty is tha- is that you." We all turned around to see Shanon. Like can you believe it.
"Squirtle-squirt" He began to have tears in his eyes before he went to hug her. She also began to cry. All the other squad members were confused.
"Umm mam care to explain please just what is going on" Officer jenny questioned.
"Yes officer. Actually some time ago someone stole my squirty here from my manor in Cerlulean city. I have also filed a complaint with the cerlulean police. But their investigation lead to no result and I reluctantly had to start my journey with just Kadabra by my side and no bothh kadabra and squirty as I had planned." She explained.
Officer Jenny called the police in Cerlulean and it was confirmed. Shanon thanked the policew and then left from there but not before giving me a disdainful look. The squirtle squad also said their goodbyes before joining us. Well all's well the end's well.
