Chapter 37 :Offending everyone, what does it even matter? (Big Chapter)

As Chasel Mills made his move, everyone in the venue was puzzled, except for one person: Tyra.

Even so, Tyra's beautiful eyes were filled with shock.

The power of a master?

It was even more terrifying than she had imagined!

Instantly, Tyra's gaze grew even more intense with desire.

She had vowed to herself that one day, shewould defeat Chasel Mills.

Now, witnessing him effortlessly take down five or six security guards with just a wave of his hand, without any physical contact, left her in awe as they writhed on the ground in pain.

Rather than feeling despair, Tyra was filled with an even greater longing to reach the same level as Chasel Mills one day.

Then, she would challenge him to a duel.

"In the face of absolute power, what do money, authority, and influence matter?"

"Even if I offend all the so-called elites in your eyes, what does it count for?"

Chasel Mills said calmly as he looked atCharlotte Walker.

In the military, seniority was everything.

Yet, Chasel Mills had achieved the miraculous feat of becoming the youngest commander in history in just five years, commanding an army of 500,000 in the North and leading the most mysterious and powerful "Aurelian Army." It was not seniority that earned him this position, but the countless military achievements he had amassed through sheer strength.

After saying that, Chasel Mills stepped forward.

In the astonished gazes of everyone around, he wrapped his arms around Charlotte Walker's tantalizing waist, pulling her close.Chasel leaned in, his head gradually moving toward Charlotte's flawless face.

The distance between them was incredibly close.

So close that Charlotte could feel Chasel's breath brushing against her skin.

Even though he had just embraced the goddess of Verdant City, a woman many desired, Chasel's gaze held no trace of lust.

Instead, it was strikingly calm.

Looking at her exquisitely chiseled features, he spoke in a steady voice, "Besides, the money, power, and status you possess, the so-called elite in your eyes, what do they compare to the energy I hold?"Facing Chasel Mills, Charlotte had managed to maintain her composure after the initial shock, even looking down at him with a hint of disdain.

But inside, she was panicking!

The way Chasel had effortlessly taken down six or seven security guards was simply unbelievable.

Even now, the cries of those guards echoed throughout the venue.

On top of that, Chasel's sudden display of power created an oppressive atmosphere around her.

For the first time in five years, Charlotte Walker felt utterly out of control. Her emotions were a tangled mess, swirling with confusion and uncertainty.

Surprise, confusion, shock, panic, disbelief, and even fear!

Even after realizing what was happening, Charlotte Walker found herself unable to push Chasel Mills away as he held her waist in a way that felt almost humiliating, pressing her against him. For a moment, she didn't dare to resist.

After a brief pause, Charlotte took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. In front of the crowd, with so many distinguished guests watching, Chasel Mills would never dare to harm her openly!"Let go of me!"

Having made up her mind, Charlotte regained her composure. Her expression turned icy, and she spoke with the authority of a queen, her voice cold and commanding.

However, instead of releasing her, Chasel tightened his grip around her waist. With a sudden pull, Charlotte's entire body jolted, pressing almost entirely against his chest. The closeness between them became uncomfortably intimate.

"You think you're some kind of aloof queen? Cold and noble?" Chasel scoffed lightly, shaking his head. "No matter how you dress it up, to me, you're just a high-class socialite, no different from a prostitute.""Of course, you do have a touch of nobility; you're the type who sells talent, not your body."

"But is there really a difference?"

At his words, Charlotte's face turned a deep shade of anger. Chasel's voice wasn't quiet, and everyone around them heard his remarks.

All eyes were glued to the scene, shock etched on their faces as they witnessed this unfolding drama.

Nora Mills's eyes widened in shock, her expression one of utter disbelief. Even Tyra looked momentarily stunned. She never expected Chasel Mills to say something like that.

However, a smirk soon appeared on Tyra'scold face. She thought Chasel Mills was actually right in what he said.

Samir and Austin Lewis, on the other hand, were overjoyed, their shock quickly turning into delight. Chasel Mills was practically digging his own grave. Not only did he dare to make such a bold move against Charlotte Walker, but he also had the audacity to insult her in front of such a distinguished crowd.Even if Tyra stood up for him now, it wouldn't save him.

"Truly reckless," Samir said, relishing the moment as he looked at Chasel Mills. "I can't believe it. Before I even get a chance to make my move, you're already heading straight for your doom."

He felt a twinge of disappointment, realizing he might not get the satisfaction of seeing Chasel kneel and beg for mercy in front of him. But even so, he could already imagine how miserable Chasel's fate would be, and that was still a pretty satisfying outcome.

At that moment, Clark Sims, having recovered from his shock, stood up and shouted, "You little punk, let Charlotte go!"Although Clark was intimidated by Chasel Mills' unpredictable methods, he believed that the security guards couldn't compare to him. How dare Chasel harm him?

Seeing Chasel holding the woman he was infatuated with so intimately and openly insulting him pushed Clark to the edge of fury.

Yet, amidst his anger, there was a flicker of delight.

This was an unprecedented opportunity.

He had already made a good impression on Charlotte Walker before, and now, if he could step in and rescue her from Chasel's grasp while teaching Chasel a lesson, he was sure it would leave an indelible mark on Charlotte'sheart.

"You dare to humiliate Charlotte like this? In all of Verdant City, you won't find a safe place to hide. You'll pay dearly for your actions today!"

Clark glared at Chasel Mills, gritting his teeth.

"Oh? And what do you plan to do about it?" Chasel replied, casually releasing Charlotte Walker from his embrace without a hint of regret.

It was as if the incredibly tempting figure before him held no allure at all for him.

He turned to face Clark Sims.

Seeing that Chasel Mills had indeed releasedCharlotte Walker under his scolding, a surge of arrogance washed over Clark's face.

"You, right now, kneel and apologize to Charlotte!"

Clark Sims stood tall, feeling even more self-important. He believed that Chasel Mills would ultimately bow to him. With his status and the power he wielded, Chasel had no choice but to submit.

Lower-class people would always remain lower-class.

"What if I don't?"

Chasel Mills's expression was unreadable—calm, perhaps even indifferent."Don't?" Clark Sims sneered. "Do you really think you can lay a hand on me?"

"If you don't kneel and apologize today, I can assure you that you'll spend the rest of your life in prison."

"Don't ever doubt my influence. I mean what I say."

Clark looked down at Chasel Mills with a cold smile.

"Is the prison yours? You think you can just throw people in jail?"

Chasel Mills laughed instead of getting angry.

"You can see it that way," Clark replied, a mix of arrogance and malice creeping onto hisface. "Of course, if you don't want to spend your life in a cell, I can always arrange for you to meet your end. Accidents happen every year, you know!"

The other privileged youths looked on, their eyes filled with envy at the scene unfolding before them. Only a few direct descendants from powerful families, like Clark Sims, had the standing to speak up in this moment.

With a single word, they could decide someone's fate! With just a phrase, they could rewrite the destinies of others! They truly had that kind of power! These elite families could turn the tides in Verdant City with a mere flick of their wrist.

"I understand now!" Chasel Mills said calmly."It seems your lives have been so comfortable for so long that you've become a bit complacent."

"But what you don't realize is that your current peace and happiness come at the cost of countless brave souls who, unseen by you, have trudged through darkness, sacrificed their lives, and shed blood, all to protect this fragile tranquility!"

"Yet there are always some worthless individuals who don't deserve to enjoy this hard-won happiness."

With that, Chasel Mills suddenly moved!

In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Clark Sims. He kicked out with precision.Instantly, Clark felt as if his legs had been struck by a speeding train, crashing into him with tremendous force. He lost all feeling in his legs, and before he knew it, he was collapsing to the ground, kneeling.

"You... you dare to touch me?" A wave of excruciating pain surged through Clark, causing cold sweat to bead on his forehead. His face twisted in agony, turning pale as he glared at Chasel Mills, gritting his teeth. "You're dead! I swear I'll make you wish you were never born!"

"Do you want a fate worse than death? I can certainly arrange that for you!"

With that, Chasel Mills pointed his hands forward.Suddenly, there was a loud crack as Clark Sims's arms twisted unnaturally. The sound of breaking bones echoed throughout the venue, clear and unmistakable.

Everyone present felt a chill run down their spines.

But that was just the beginning.Chasel Mills twisted his hands, and Clark's arms were forced behind his back in a painful hold.

"Ah!" A piercing scream erupted from Clark, filled with agony.

"Enough noise!" Chasel Mills said coolly.

In an instant, Clark's throat was struck again, damaging his vocal cords.

The scream abruptly cut off!

He couldn't even manage a whimper!

The silent suffering twisted Clark's handsome face into a mask of pain.

Only then did Chasel Mills finally release him, calmly observing Clark with a cold, indifferent gaze.

His expression remained utterly unchanged, exuding an eerie calmness!

The crowd gasped, their pupils dilating in shock.

What brutality!

Charlotte Walker, who usually carried herself with the pride and poise of a queen, couldn't help but shudder at the sight.

She felt an unsettling sense of déjà vu wash over her!

Clark Sims knelt down, and his posture bore a striking resemblance to the kneeling statue of Qin Hui in front of the Yue Fei Tomb, located by the West Lake in Hangzhou, beneath Xixia. Ridge.
