"Last week on Total Drama Action," Chris began the recap…underground. The host was tunneling his way through the dirt with only a spoon while wearing an orange prison jumpsuit. "Our competitors took it on the chin as they faced a never ending buffet of deadly natural disasters! Owen continued to try and get back in the ballpark with Izzy but still failed to up to the bat. That was until the big guy sacrificed himself to save miss crazy, leaving him with a busted up jaw. Owen's injury led to the Grips' victory as everyone piled inside a submarine where we experienced some…technical difficulties. Luckily Harold proved to be the MVP and everyone's savior, earning him and Gaffers as well as the injured Owen a brief getaway at a swanky hotel. But this week everyones back to face a big house full of pain, see for yourself now on Total. Drama. Action!"
Currently nearly all the Grips were together in the Crafts Services Tent eating breakfast…or, well, it was more accurate to say they were trying to eat breakfast. Everyone knows how good Chef's food has become recently and were actually starting to look forward to eating Chef's food now. But for some reason the day after the Gaffer's left all that went out the window and Chef's food went back to being disgusting. After getting used to Chef's good food it made stomaching his bad food even harder now.
Over the last few days the Grips struggled to eat anything Chef provided them, not that they would risk complaining and angering the buff cook with access to all the kitchen knives. "Ugh, I can't stand this slope anymore…" Justin let out as he pushed his bowl of gruel forward, only able to keep a few bites down before he felt like barfing. "I can't risk this stuff poisoning me, it could completely ruin my complexion."
"Agreed…" Ronnie Anne let out. Not with the complexion stuff, but not being about to eat the food anymore. Why was it when the Gaffers left Chef suddenly started serving absolute crap again? After nearly drowning in a submarine this is how they were treated while the Gaffers and Owen all got to enjoy a fancy and fun get away that probably included absolutely divine food. "My stomach feels like it's in knots from eating this stuff…"
"Yeah…" Geoff sighed out, picking at his gruel with a spoon. Over the last few days Geoff has been a bit bummed out. His girl Bridgette was away so he couldn't try and enjoy her company during the off time, but while she was gone Geoff continued to be filled with…worrying thoughts. Ever since Ronnie Anne pointed out how close Bridgette was with Lincoln, Geoff couldn't help but notice and remember all the times they really seemed to cozy up to each other. During season one they hung together during the Dodgeball challenge, then they would often spend time at the beach together with Bridgette teaching him to surf with Lincoln also teaching Bridgette how to draw, and now they were on the same team and were always hanging out together talking and having fun. And now they and the rest of the team were enjoying a little retreat together. It just…really bugged Geoff. "Hey…Ronnie Anne,"
"Yeah?" Ronnie Anne looked towards Geoff as she ditched her bowl of gruel.
"I wanted to ask you something…" Geoff scratched the back of his head, debating on if he should ask this or not. It was definitely a sensitive subject for the Hispanic teen, and she proved to have quite the temper. Geoff just hoped this wouldn't get him hurt. "What was Lincoln like when you two were a thing? Ya know, before the show,"
"Oh?" Ronnie Anne rose a brow in interest, looks like one of her little plans was starting to kick in. "Why do you ask?"
"Nothing just…" Geoff again thought about how close Lincoln and Bridgette were and all the little moments they shared with each other. "I-I wanna get your side of the story is all dude. Like he says you were a bad girlfriend but was he a good boyfriend? Like did he, I dunno…look at other girls? Or something?"
"Well, I might not have been perfect," Ronnie Anne claimed with a shrug. "But he was no saint himself." Unaware to Geoff, Ronnie Anne had a sinister smirk on her face.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"I this is just too perfect~" Ronnie Anne smirked cruelly. Looks like the little seed of doubt she was planting in Geoff was beginning to grow. Hopefully soon enough she'll be able to turn him and other contestants against Lincoln. "And for the record, I was a great girlfriend. Lincoln was just a wimp, he always just wanted to cuddle and kiss, bleh! I tried to get him into stuff like skateboarding and wrestling but he would always bail! And then he ditched me to compete in this stupid show! You tell me which of us was the bad partner."
"Mmmmmm…" Izzy let out as she sat on the steps leading to the girls' trailer while holding Mr. Coconut close to her chest. Similar to Geoff Izzy has been bummed out ever since the last challenge. She was filled with both worry and guilt over Owen, and she blamed herself for what happened to him. If she wasn't acting so cold to him he wouldn't have taken the blow meant for her and he'd still be here perfectly safe and healthy. "I hope Owen gets back soon…"
"Hey Izzy," Walking up to the psycho hose beast was Heather. Similar to just about everyone else Heather had enough of Chef's disgusting food and decided to just get some fresh air and wait for when the Gaffers would get back. Today should be the day they come back from their fancy little hotel trip and when they got back she predicted it would be time for another challenge and Heather was determined to crush them in it and get revenge on the Gaffers for getting to spend time at a hotel while they stayed here with Chef's slop. "What are you doing?"
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"So Ronnie Anne has actually done a surprisingly good job on getting the team on her side, she has actually come a long way from the total rageaholic she was on day one," Heather actually complimented her alliance's 'leader.' Granted she spoke with a condescending tone but still Heather mostly meant what she said. "But we need to add a bit more insurance to strengthen the hold we have on everyone. Now with Izzy all bummed out over Owen and not being…totally insane, she should be ripe for manipulation~"
"Oh, nothing much…" Izzy sniffled a little, wiping her eyes as Heather sat down next to her, putting a fake comforting hand on the psycho hose beasts' shoulder. "We just really miss Big O is all…"
"Oh I understand Izzy," Heather put on her 'nice girl' voice as she comforted the red head, listening to her woes. Honestly Heather couldn't believe that Owen and Izzy got together but the more the queen bee thought about it, it actually made sense. They were both complete freaks that were made for each other. "It must be hard being without…wait, did you say we?"
"Yeah, me and Mr. Coconut," Heather blinked a few times as Izzy held up Mr. Coconut. Right…Heather actually forgot Izzy was holding onto that…thing for Owen while he was gone. Tyler had attempted to grab Mr. Coconut and finally get rid of that fruity menace once and for all and well…let's just say it ended with an angry Izzy and Tyler visiting the emergency room. Again. "We just really hope Owen's ok,"
"Riiight…" Heather slowly said. Ok, try not to think about the fact that Izzy has the coconut and, like Owen, can apparently hear it talk. She'll say it again, those two freaky weirdo's were meant for each other. "Well you know in times like this us girlfriends need to stick together so-"
"I just feel so bad for how I treated him!" Izzy yelled out as she looked down, feeling immense guilt for giving Owen the cold shoulder the whole time they were here. "I mean he really messed up but he spent so much time trying to apologize and make up for it, it's because of me his jaw is busted! What if he blames me for it! I can't say I couldn't blame him…"
"…" Izzy blinked a few times as she held up Mr. Coconut, the fruit apparently…speaking to her.
"Huh, you really mean it Mr. Coconut?" Heather put on a disturbed look and Izzy held the coconut closer to her. "You really think so?"
"…" Mr. Coconut sat silently in her palms.
"You sure he's not gonna hate me?" Izzy asked, still a bit unsure despite Mr. Coconut's encouraging words.
"…" Mr. Coconut reassured Izzy.
"Oooooh, thank you so much Mr. Coconut," Izzy finally cracked a smile as she held the fruit up to her face and nuzzled her cheek against it. "You always know just what to say,"
"…Ya know what," Heather decided to bail. She couldn't deal with…whatever…this was. Last thing she wanted to risk was either catching the crazy bug Izzy might have or lose brain cells continuing to listen and watch this conversation Izzy was having with a freaking fruit! "I'm just gonna let you continue…whatever the heck this is…"
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Ok, I take it all back," Heather stated, a disturbed look on the queen bee's face. "No alliance is worth dealing with all of that! Luckily Ronnie Anne is continuing to get into Geoff's head and Justin has all the girls besides me and Ronnie Anne wrapped around his finger."
Smooch~ Smooch~ Smooch~
"Huh?" Heather raised a brow as she walked away from Izzy. Not long after ditching the crazy girl the queen bee heard the sound of sucking coming from nearby. Cringing at the noise a bit, Heather looked around for the source and eventually put on a disgusted look as she turned her head to the back of the trailer and saw Lindsay sitting on Tyler's lap with the two of them making out. "Ugh! Ew!"
Tyler and Lindsay didn't pay Heather any mind. "Mmmmmm~" The two simply moaned into each other as Lindsay wrapped her arms around Tyler's neck to pull the jock in closer and push her lips against his even harder.
"Gross! If you two are gonna do that can you at least get a room!?" Heather yelled out at the two in even further disgust. The only response she got from the two was them continuing to suck face and moan a bit…with Lindsay holding her hand up and flipping Heather the bird. "Ugh! Whatever…"
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"Heather's just jealous," Lindsay stated with a love-struck expression. She wouldn't lie, making out with her cute boyfriend while giving Heather the finger, again, definitely left her with a good feeling. "Maybe if she tones down the nastiness in the future she can find herself a boyfriend too!"
HONK! HONK!
Suddenly the attention of everyone in the film lot was gained as they heard the familiar honking of a run down limo. With Ronnie Anne, Justin, and Geoff leaving the Craft Services tent and Heather, Izzy and Mr. Coconut, Tyler, and Lindsay all meeting them by the trailers as they all watched the Lamosine pull up the trailers. "Woohoo!" The door opened and exiting were the Gaffers with many of them having big smiles, clearly having had a great time at the hotel.
"Guess who's back baby!" Leshawna yelled out as she stepped out, everyone having their luggage in their hands. A few nasty and envious looks were sent their way, the Grips obviously jealous over the get away that the Gaffer's got. "Now that's what I call a fun time!"
"That game floor was awesome!" Mike cheered as he and Trent shared a high five, the two having spent nearly the entire trip there after they found it. "They had like, every game console known to man!"
"And that pool table was pretty sick as well!" Trent grinned as he remembered the games of pool he and Mike played with some of their friends also joining them from time to time. "Didn't know you were a pro at that Mike,"
"Ah well, my mom was a huge pool player when she was young and she taught me a thing or two," Mike explained as the two shared a few laughs.
"That's nothing compared to the spa," Harold grinned, noticeably looking more well groomed than he usually was. "I didn't think it was possible to relax that much,"
"Not to mention the buffet table! They had some stuff I never even heard of!" DJ grinned before reaching out and pulling out a list he made while he was there. "Even managed to get a few of the cooks there to tell me some of their recipes! Oh momma is gonna love all this, I'll make a big feast for her and the rest of the family when the show is over."
"Heh, I think Lincoln and Dawn enjoyed the rooms we got the most," Jasmine grinned, teasing Dawn a bit as she lightly jabbed a blushing Dawn with her elbow a bit. "Those two never even came out the first day~ Makes me wonder what you two crazy kids were up too~"
"C-Come on Jasmine," Dawn stuttered a bit, but couldn't stop the smile or bright blush from appearing on her face. She and Lincoln can certainly say they had their own bit of fun while there.
"We just decided to relax together is all," Lincoln stated as he wrapped an arm around Dawn, pulling her close with Dawn happily leaning her head against her boyfriend.
"Grrrrr…" Ronnie Anne growled out as she glared at the Gaffers, especially the likes of Lincoln and Dawn.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"If they all think they can just lord their little get away over us, they got another thing coming," Ronnie Anne growled out as she pounded her fist on the vanity desk. "We are so going to cream them in today's challenge!"
And finally the last one exiting the trailer was the last member of the Grips. Out of the wheelchair and no longer all dopey from the pain medication was Owen, and as soon as Izzy saw the big guy the psycho hose beast put on a big smile as she ran towards him. "OWEN!!!" Izzy cried out as jumped up and tackled Owen into a big hug with the goofball falling down onto his back with a grunt. "I've missed you so much!"
"You did? You really mean it?" As Owen spoke, he had to talk through his teeth as his jaw was shut tight with a series of wires that the doctors all set up in order to help his jaw recover. It's certainly been an adjustment for the big guy, but hearing Izzy say she missed him and her nodding in confirmation made it all worth it. "I missed you too Iz! I thought of you the whole time I was at the hospital and the hotel."
"Oh Owen, I am so, so, so, so, so, so sorry!" Izzy apologized as she helped Owen up before hugging him again. "I shouldn't have been so mean to you for the past few weeks when you were trying so hard to apologize!"
"It's ok," Owen didn't hesitate to accept Izzy's apology. "I kinda deserved it."
"And hey, guess who missed you too~" Izzy grinned before reaching between her breasts and pulling out Owen's faithful fruity buddy. "Tada!"
"Mr. Coconut!" Owen perked up before more and immediately took Mr. Coconut into his hands and wrapped the fruit into a big hug. "Oh I missed you so much buddy!"
"And we're back to this again…" Tyler said before pointing at Owen's mouth, noticing all the metal and stuff in it. "Hey Owen, what's with the braces?"
"Not braces, wires," Owen explained with a sigh as he pointed to his mouth with all the Grips looking at what had become of Owen's jaw. "My jaw's sealed shut for the next 6 weeks to heal."
"For six weeks?" Justin and the other's eyes widened a bit at the news. Sure Justin was egotistical and was part of an alliance of villains but even he couldn't help but feel bad for the situation Owen was in. "Then how do you eat?"
"Through a straw and a blender," Owen stated with his team all cringing a bit. Yep, unless Owen's food was liquefied by a blender or something else, there wasn't any way he could eat it until his jaw fully healed.
"Sounds gross," Tyler gagged a bit at the thought of it.
"It is," Trent confirmed as soon the Gaffers were all cringing as they remembered all the blended monstrosity's Owen made while they were at the hotel. "Saw him blend together porkchops and vegetables once."
"You don't even wanna know what color it was," Leshawna let out, getting a bit sick at the memory. She was gonna have to smack Trent upside the head later for him reminding her of that. "Whatever it was, it ain't right."
"Bet the hotel was pretty sweet though," Geoff smiled as he walked up to his girlfriend who looked as equally refreshed as the rest of her team. "You looked like you had a blast Bridgette!"
"Oh I did! There was so much fun stuff to do!" Bridgette bounced a little as she remembered all the cool stuff there was to do! All the stuff everyone mentioned, a pool that had a big slide, a killer hot tub, a big movie theater, and even a few places to play some sports. "There was even a tennis court!"
"That I beat you in," Lincoln pointed out with a smirk as he walked up to Bridgette after separating from Dawn.
"Oh please," Bridgette playfully scoffed as she gave Lincoln a light punch on the shoulder. "You just got a lucky shot in," Both Bridgette and Lincoln began laughing together and again Geoff found himself looking in between the two with a worried expression. Seeing the two being so chummy together just…didn't sit right with him. But suddenly Geoff was brought out of those thoughts as Bridgette wrapped him up into a hug, giving her boyfriend a loving look. "It would've been better if you were there though~"
Immediately Geoff eased up as he wrapped an arm around Bridgette. "Heh, well maybe after the show you can show me that place sometime~" Geoff suggested with Bridgette eagerly nodding her head. "Bet there will be a killer party at the end again anyway!"
As they were all talking, suddenly everyone jumped up in surprise as something came up from the ground forcing the two teams to separate. Everyone watched as Chris rose up from an underground tunnel wearing an orange jumpsuit. "Gosh, finally! Couldn't breathe down there!" Chris yelled out before brushing all the dirt off him as he gave the teens his signature grin. Good morning contestants!"
"What the heck?!" Harold yelled out with him and many of the others being taken off guard by what they just saw.
"Cool!" Izzy clapped a bit at the sight. "Chris mutated to an orange moleman!"
"Hope you enjoyed the fresh air of freedom!" Chris told everyone as he zipped off the jumpsuit to reveal his normal clothes underneath. "Because today is prison flick day!"
"Prison?" Jasmine let out as everyone immediately began worrying. Welp, the hotel was nice while it lasted.
"And again we probably should have kept Duncan on," Justin pointed out to his alliance. Seriously having Duncan still with them would have provided a huge advantage for this type of movie. But Justin's response from his alliance was Ronnie Anne punching him in the arm. "Ow!"
"Ah prison," Chris snickered a bit as he paced back and forth in front of the two teams. "The confinement. The claustrophobia. The vile nasty food. And of course, trying not to drop the soap! That goes double for you Harold."
Harold's eyes dilated a bit in horror as he audibly gulped.
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"Talk about overkill, this place is already prison enough," Harold stated as he gestured to all around him. This show felt more and more like a prison everyday, at least in the big house there were guards to keep fights from breaking out. "Not that I'm complaining though. I should probably be locked up for the ladies sake anyway…the part about the soap scares me though,"
"Follow me to the set and we'll begin!" Chris gestured for all the contestants to follow him. "And to measure you to see what size jump suit you all wear." Nearly everyone cringed a bit at this, though Lindsay had a look of horror on her face.
ONE COSTUME CHANGE LATER
The contestants were all brought to a set that resembled the big house itself. Cells aligning the walls of multiple stories, long narrow hallways, a large cafeteria, it gave off the perfect prison vibe. Chris was now wearing a prison guards uniform and like the host said, all the contestants were measured for a jumpsuit with all of them now wearing orange prison uniforms with some taking it better than others. "Ugh…" Jasmine felt like she couldn't breathe in hers. She was given the biggest jumpsuit they had, but it was still a tight squeeze on her tall body. "Don't you have…anything a bit bigger mate?"
"No," Chris bluntly said, earning a glare from the Australian Amazon.
"Ew…talk about a fashion disaster…" Lindsay cringed as she looked at the jumpsuit she was wearing in horror. The jumpsuits themselves were bad enough, but orange ones? Lindsay wouldn't wanna be caught dead wearing one of these and here she was wearing it on TV! "Do we seriously have to wear these the whole time? We look hideous!"
"Speak for yourself sister," Lincoln stated as he grinned and gestured to himself. If there was any color he rocked more than any other, it was orange. "I'm rocking this look!"
"Now in every classic prison film our main character tries to desperately escape to taste that sweet, sweet freedom," Chris began explaining how today's challenge was gonna go. "For your first challenge both teams will be locked in their own cells. The goal, escape while avoiding the prison guards."
Chris then stepped to the side and revealed Lily and Edward with Lily wearing a police officer's uniform and Edward having a policeman's hat on and both wearing a pair of styling shades. "Aaaww, they look so cute!" Owen gushed a bit at the sight of the two miniature police officers. "They can't be that threatening,"
But Lily soon disproved that as she stomped towards Owen and pulled out a nightstick. "Quite tubby!" Lily shouted before whacking Owen in the stomach.
"Ow!" Owen let out as everyone winced a bit. "Police brutality!"
"I didn't see anything, hehe," Chris grinned as he looked away from the scene before explaining just what both guards were armed with. "Lily will be armed with tranquilizer balls. One hit from one of those and you'll be out long enough to be thrown in a new cell," Lily showed off what Chris meant as she reached into a pouch connected to the belt of her costume and pulled out a small red squishy ball that she tossed up and down threateningly. "Meanwhile, I think Heather can give you an in-depth explanation about what Edward's armed with."
"Brbrbr…" Edward let out threateningly as he narrowed his eyes at Heather.
"Get bent!" Heather yelled at both Chris and the Platypus.
"Deputy's, lock em up!" Chris ordered as he pointed to the two teams.
"W-Wait! Don't do this!" Tyler pleaded as both teams were led to their cell. "I'm innocent bro!"
"That's what they all say dirtbag!" Lily yelled before giving Tyler's leg a whack with her nightstick. "Now move!"
CONFESSIONAL – Leshawna
"If his youngest sister is like this I do NOT wanna meet the rest of them!" Leshawna let out, shaking her head. "Makes me wonder how Q-Tip survived this long…"
Soon enough both teams were locked up in a large cell, both across from each other on the third floor of the prison. Both cells had thick bars and a cell door that was locked up tight, multiple beds that extended out from the walls with the beds really just being rectangular slabs, two barred up windows, a sink, and of course a toilet that offered no privacy at all. "Ok, no one had better even think about using the bathroom." Heather told everyone with a firm glare with Owen awkwardly looking around. "Now does anyone have any bright ideas on how to escape?"
"Oh I have an idea!" Owen spoke up with a grin, getting everyone to look at him unsurely.
"Do we even wanna know what it is?" Ronnie Anne sighed as she rubbed her temples a bit.
"I saw this on TV once! All prison cells have one phony bar that comes out in case of emergencies!" Owen pointed out as he walked to the bars and began taping each one. "Real, real, real, real, real, real, real," Owen then began backing away from the eight bar, readying to charge at it. "And by the process of elimination this must be the fake one!"
Owen then charged head first at the bar and-
BANG!
"Ow!" Owen's head was met with firmly placed metal that didn't budge at all. "That smarts!"
"Haha, nice try Owen," Justin laughed a bit in amusement. Sure the busted jaw he felt bad for but when it came to stuff like this he could definitely just sit back and just enjoy. "Hey maybe try the windows, the fake bar might be in there instead,"
"Oh good idea Justin!" Owen perked up and went to check while Heather and Ronnie Anne both face palmed.
Over in the Gaffer cell, they were faced with a crisis that was definitely familiar to them. "Oh not again, not again…" Jasmine paced around anxiously as she looked around the cell. Once again just like with the submarine, Jasmine's claustrophobia was kicking in from being in the confining prison cell. "It's too cramped in here! We're gonna be crushed!!!"
"Oh boy here we go again," DJ let out as he immediately went over to Jasmine to try and calm her down, softly grabbing her shoulders. "Jasmine it's ok, you just need to calm down and-
"Don't tell me to calm down! The last time you told me to calm down we almost drowned!" Jasmine shouted out in a panic, causing DJ to back away from her feeling both frightened and a bit hurt that she denied his help. Jasmine only began to walk around in circles while breathing heavily. "Oh bloody hell I think the walls are closing in! We're never gonna get out!"
"Jasmine, you need to cool it!" Mike shouted, a bit irritated by all of the Australian girls yelling. Currently he and his team were scattered around the cell, trying to find anything useful to aid in their escape. "If you don't stop freaking out we'll definitely never escape!" All this frustration led to Mike gasping before slumping down and putting on a familiar look. "Aw dag nab it quiet down will ya! Back in my day families all had to pile up together in a room the size of a tin can! And we were thankful for it!"
"You're not helping either Mike!" Lincoln yelled towards the teen pretending to be an old man before groaning a bit. "Ugh…"
"Hey," Luckily there to help calm Lincoln down was Dawn, who softly grabbed his hand before giving her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. "It'll be ok,"
And thankfully that did the job as Lincoln took a breath before calming down. "Thanks babe, I needed that," Dawn blushed a bit and gave Lincoln a reassuring nod. "Alright everyone, let's get to work!"
"Ok, this must be the fake bar!" Owen finished inspecting the window bows and went to punch the remaining bar, only to get the same results as before. "Ow!"
"Owen, that isn't helping!" Ronnie Anne shouted at the big guy in irritation. "We need to try something else!"
"Well what do you think we should do?" Owen asked before holding up Mr. Coconut. "Do you have any ideas Mr. Coconut?"
"…" Mr. Coconut let out.
"...Harold!" Owen called out to the ginger on the other side of the prison. "Mr. Coconut wants to see you!"
"Kinda busy right now!" Harold yelled back as he worked on getting the bars on the window off with some dental floss he luckily brought along with him. "Ok guys, I'll have us out in no time!"
"…What are you doing?" Trent asked as he slowly blinked a few times as he watched Harold do…something.
"Trying to get us out, duh," Harold said like it was obvious.
"With dental floss?" Leshawna asked with a raised brow.
"With enough patience you'd be surprised how effective it can be," Harold stated before doubling his efforts with the bars. "Just watch, we'll be free men soon enough!"
"It's not fast enough!" Jasmine yelled as she walked up to Harold, the Australian Amazon continuing to panic. "We need to get out of here!!! I can't breathe!!!"
"Jasmine, you need to calm down," Harold tried to get Jasmine's fear under control. Geez, this would probably be the most serious case of claustrophobia he's seen. He'll have to psychoanalyze Jasmine later to see what was up with it. "There's a window, air is flow-WOAH!"
But Harold was cut off as Jasmine grabbed him and proceeded to hold the ginger in the battering ram position. "WE! NEED! TO! GET! OUT! NOW!!!" Everyone watched as Jasmine proceeded to bang Harold's head against the bars as hard as she could.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Harold let out every time his skull made contact with the bars until eventually-
Clang!
The bars came right off after enough hits. "…Well that's one way to do it," Bridgette said slowly.
"Freedom!" Jasmine let out as she quickly began to crawl out the window. "Sweet, sweet air!"
"Girl what is the matter with you?!" Leshawna yelled as she glared at Jasmine before quickly checking up on Harold, lifting his head up with a massive bump on it. "Oh Harold baby are you alright?"
"Uuuuuugh…" A clearly concussed Harold let out. "Everything's spinning…"
CONFESSIONAL – Leshawna
"Look I get being afraid of tight spaces, Gwen was the same," Leshawna angrily ranted. "But getting riled up enough to do that is just messed up!
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"I'd like to thank my award for this academy!" A dazed Harold let out with a dopey smile as he held up Edward.
"Brbrbr!" Edward squirmed around in Harold's hand, clearly trying to get out.
"Hey watch it!" Chester let out as Bridgette and Trent pulled the old geezer through the window. "I'm not as young as I used to be ya know!"
"Sssh, keep it down," Lincoln whispered to everyone once they were all out of their cell and were now free to roam about the prison set and find the way out. "We need to be quiet, Edward and Lily are on the hunt and if we get caught they could lock us back up, we all need to get out to complete the challenge. So move slowly, and move quietly."
Everyone nodded in agreement as they all started following Lincoln through the prison with Leshawna carrying Harold bridal style. "Don't worry baby," Leshawna whispered to Harold in a sweet tone. "Leshawna's got ya, everything's gonna be alright."
"Haha…I's like you…" Harold let out with Leshawna quickly covering his mouth, but the girl with the tude couldn't help but blush.
"Brbrbrb…" They heard the voice of Edward echo close by.
"A guard's coming!" Trent quietly told everyone.
"Let's book it!" Lincoln ordered with everyone quickly and quietly booking it.
"Uh, guys we have a problem!" Justin announced to everyone, the handsome teen having just witnessed the Gaffers escaping their cell. "The Gaffers are out! And they used Harold's head to break through the bars. Huh, you know you'd think if they were gonna use anyone as a battering ram it'd be Trent."
"What?!" Ronnie Anne shouted as she moved next to Justin and sure enough saw that the Gaffers were no longer in their cell. Growling, Ronnie Anne gripped the bars tightly and attempted to try and shake them loose but to no avail. "No! No! No! He is not beating me again! Ok no more messing around everyone, we need a plan and we need it now!"
"Oh!" Lindsay rose her hand. "I have an idea!"
"We need actual good ideas!" Heather yelled harshly to Lindsay making the ditzy blond glare at the queen bee. "Look we should look around for any hidden tools, they're bound to be something hidden inside the cell somewhere for us to use!"
"No way, that'll take too long!" Geoff stated, the Gaffers would easily get out by the time they found any tools to help them just start to begin breaking out. "We should try to pick the lock!"
"Actually that was what I-" Linsday spoke up only to be cut off again.
"Who here knows how to pick a lock?" Tyler said getting Lindsay to give her boyfriend a blank look. "We should do what the Gaffers did and all charge at the bars together and try to knock them down!"
"And get ourselves injured in the process, no way!" Justin immediately denied the idea. No way was he gonna risk more damage to his person, he already faced the golf ball barrage last time. "Maybe we could wait till one of the guards shows up and I can turn up the charm and get them to let us out!"
"…" Everyone was silent as they looked at Justin with rather disturbed looks with Izzy of all people being the one to speak up. "…You wanna try and hit on either a platypus or little girl to get them to let us out?"
"I-I never said that!" Justin sputtered a bit at that. Ok he admitted to using his looks to his advantage in multiple scenarios but never anything like that! "Just sweet talk them into opening up the cell!"
"Dude, that does not sound any better," Geoff slowly shook his head.
"At least I'm trying to think of good ideas!" Justin snapped as he glared at everyone. "Unlike the rest of you!"
At this point everyone gets into a full blown argument, everyone shouting over each other and overall not coming to an agreement about anything! "Guys!" Lindsay tried to call out to everyone. "I can get us out!"
"Lindsay, relax, just let us handle this," Tyler told Lindsay in a rather…condescending way. Tyler loved Lindsay but he wasn't sure he could trust any ideas she came up with considering how…low of intelligence she was to put it nicely. "We'll think of something."
Lindsay gasped at that, not even her own boyfriend was gonna hear her out?! Puffing her cheeks out in anger, Lindsay stormed over to the cell door in a huff. Reaching into her hair, Lindsay pulled out one of her hairpins and inserted it into the lock. After a few moments Lindsay managed to unlock it and get the cell door open. Exiting the cell, Lindsay saw none of her teammates had even noticed as they were all too busy arguing. Lindsay was about to call out to them…but decided not to.
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"Every time I have an idea, everyone shoots it down! Even Tyler!" Lindsay was a bit hurt that even Tyler didn't think she could come up with anything to help. Sure she knew she wasn't the smartest person in the world but that doesn't mean she was brainless! She could win challenges too! "If they're not gonna listen then they can get themselves out!"
Lindsay sent her team a glare before closing the cell door and locking it up again, walking away before they could notice.
"Hey, did you guys hear that?" Tyler asked as he looked around, he swore he just heard the sound of a door opening and closing.
"I hear you, not being useful!" Heather yelled at the jock, getting the massive argument to continue further.
"Hmmmmm…" Lily hummed out as both she and Edward patrolled the prison cafeteria. Both kept their eyes on the lookout for any of the escaped prisoners. Edward reported to her that all the Gaffers were out while the Grips were all still locked in their cell. Her brother's team or not, she couldn't show biased. They had to be hunted down. "Any sign of them fellow deputy?"
"Brbrbrb!" Edward shook his head.
Meanwhile hiding throughout the cafeteria were the Gaffers. After hearing the deputies coming, Lincoln ordered everyone to spread out and hide. Lincoln and Dawn were hiding under the salad bar, Trent and Chester were hiding under one of the many tables, Bridgette and DJ were hiding in the kitchen, Jasmine was ducking behind some trash cans and Leshawna was continuing to carry Harold as she hid the both of them under the cafeteria counter. "We know you're in here~" Lily called out, speaking in a creepy voice that made everyone get shivers up their spine. "It's only a matter of time before we find you~!"
"Whatever you do, stay silent," Trent whispered to Chester as he pointed forward. "Just crawl through table to table so they can't find us,"
"Eh what was that sonny?" Chester asked, speaking loudly, getting Trent and his teammates all to flinch. "Hearing ain't as good as it used to be!"
"Crap…" Trent facepalmed.
"Brbrbrb!" Edward yelled as he was on the floor and immediately pointed Trent and Chester out.
"There you are!" Lily shouted as she immediately pulled a few tranq balls out of her pouch. "You're going back to your cells you degenerates!"
"Quick!" Lincoln decided it was time to just say screw it as he and Dawn exposed themselves. "Get to the exit now! Run as fast as you can, they have short legs!"
"Hey!" Lily yelled out in offense as she threw one of the balls at her brother only for him and Dawn to duck under it as the ball burst on impact with the wall, proving useless. "Edward! Get them!"
"Brbrbrbr!" Edward immediately waddled as fast as he could as everyone from the Gaffers began running towards the exit, ditching their hiding places. Deciding who the most vulnerable was, Edward spotted Leshawna carrying around Harold and decided to start lunging at her. "Brbrbrb!"
"Aw heck no!" Leshawna ducked down to try and at least protect Harold. But to her surprise the platypus never came, instead Leshawna looked and saw Jasmine standing over them with the struggling platypus in her hands. "Jasmine!"
"Run!" Jasmine told the girl with a tude. Leshawna nodded and quickly charged towards the exit while carrying Harold over her shoulder. Jasmine then smirked as she looked at the squirming platypus, she was holding him in such a way that he couldn't stab her with his barbs. "Hah, think you could get me that easily? We're from the same neck of the woods remember? I know how to handle little buggas like you!"
"Brbrbrb!" Edward yelled out as he tried to escape the Australian Amazon's grasp, but he wasn't able to budge even a little. But he did get out of her grip eventually…when Jasmine chucked him across the cafeteria. "Brbrbrbrb!"
"Edward! Oh you're in for it now!" Lily yelled as she began throwing the tranq balls at Jasmine. Jasmine smirked as she kicked a cafeteria table up and held it in her hands to block the ball like a shield, kicking another up Jasmine held one in each hand and used them to form a wall that Lily couldn't throw over. "Hey! That's cheating!"
"Hah! Anything goes in the big house mate!" Jasmine smirked before calling out to the rest of her teammates. "Everyone behind me!" The Gaffers all smirked as they piled behind Jasmine as the Australian Amazon blocked everything sent her away allowing them all to back up towards the exit with Jasmine setting down the tables to act as a blockade so Lily and Edward couldn't follow them.
And soon enough the Gaffers all made it to the prison yard where Chris was waiting for them. "Gaffers, congratulations!" Chris told them as the Gaffers all began to cheer. "On coming in second!"
"Huh?!" All the Gaffers stopped cheering to give Chris a shocked look.
"What are you talking about, how are we second?" Trent asked as he looked around for the other team and saw nothing. "Our team was here first."
"Hi guys," A familiar voice called out to them with the Gaffers all turning to see Lindsay sitting on a rock, giving them a friendly wave. "How's it going?"
"But…where's the rest of her team?" DJ asked as everyone sent disappointed looks towards Chris.
"Did I say the WHOLE team has to escape~?" Chris asked with a sly grin, making everyone groan. "Didn't think so~"
"You and you're wording…" Lincoln sighed out
"I am good at that aren't I?" Chris couldn't help but brag.
Meanwhile with the Grips…
"Listen, I can make us a homemade pipe bomb to get us all out!" Izzy pitched her idea for escaping the cell, no one still having noticed that Lindsay was gone. "All I need is tape, a tooth brush, a pair of batteries, a sponge, and a bottle of lube!"
That got everyone to quiet down and give Izzy strange looks. "….Lube?" Justin slowly questioned.
"I said lube (BLEEP) it!" Izzy snapped at everyone, getting them all to flinch.
"Hey Grips," Calling out to the team was Lily, who pulled out a pair of keys to unlock their cell. "Yard time! Congratulations, you all won the challenge,"
"What?" All the Grips said in unison.
"How'd we win?" Geoff asked as the party dude scratched his head. "We're all still in the cell!"
"LINDSAY!?"
All the Grips looked at the blond in shock once they arrived at the yard. Lindsay couldn't help but give them all a smug look and cross her arms. But none was more stunned than Heather as she walked up to the ditzy blond in disbelief. "You escaped?!" Heather shouted in disbelief. "How?!"
"Wouldn't you like to know," Lindsay did a bit of a hair flip as she said this.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"How did…there's no way she…" Heather tried to wrap her mind about how Lindsiot of all people managed to break out and escape. "It's LINDSAY!"
"Way to go babe!" Tyler told his girlfriend as he ran up to her, only for Lindsay to give him a frown in response. "That was awesome, how'd you do it?"
"Hmph," Was all Lindsay gave Tyler before turning her back to him.
"Huh?" Tyler blinked a bit at how Lindsay acted with him. That's strange, why was he getting the silent treatment. "Babe? Everything ok?"
"Ok inmates, listen up," Chris spoke up, getting all eyes on him as he explained the second part of the challenge. "You may be out of the big house now but you got one more step to take before you're all free men." Chris then gestured over to the other half of the yard where a prison themed obstacle course awaited them. "Clearing this obstacle course you must head over to the wall and start tunneling your way underneath it. Gaffers all you guys get are these itty bitty little spoons." The Gaffers groaned as Chris handed each of them a spoon. "Grips, you win the almighty golden shovels!"
The Grips all cheered as Chris handed them a sparkling gold shovels. "Nice~" Justin said as he looked at his reflection in one.
CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"Eh, if I know anything about golden shovels we definitely got the better tool in the end," Lincoln grinned as he held up his spoon. "I know we can still win this thing,"
"One member of each team can go on the obstacle course at a time, when they reach the end they can immediately start digging while the next team member steps up." Chris explained to the contestants what was waiting for them on the obstacle course. "But be careful~ In this obstacle course you'll find guard dogs," Chris gestured to a bunch of barking German Shepherds at the bottom of a long jump. "Prison dudes with homemade shivs," The next one was a bunch of cardboard cutouts of prisoners wielding sharp objects that were being thrust forward. "Prison food fights," Next was two tennis ball launchers set up and firing nasty looking food. "Pepper spray," Then there were cardboard cutouts of police officers with pepper spray that would be fired out every few seconds. "And the Sheriff in the tower trying to shoot you down!"
Everyone then looked up to see Chef in a guard tower, once again dressed in his military uniform, with the paintball sniper rifle he used last season. "Isn't that a bit much?" Bridgette asked, hadn't they had enough of obstacle courses after the last challenge?"
"No, too much is the electric barbed wire that I wanted to use," Chris huffed out as he crossed his arms. "But the producers rejected it,"
CONFESSIONAL – Trent
"So the producers DO have standards," Trent said with a bit of disbelief. "Good to know,"
"Being the first to make it under the wall will win it for their team," Chris yelled out as he held up an airhorn. "Now prisoners ready…move maggots move!"
"Mike, you gotta do the course first!" Lincoln told Chester, the white head remembering how much Mike dominated the disaster obstacle course in the last challenge. "Do your Svetlana thing and give us a head start in digging!"
"What?! With my aching old bones?!" Chester yelled at Lincoln in disbelief. How could this younging ask an elderly man like him to do an obstacle course like that?! "Are you mad?! Why I outta-"
"And next up on the vault!" Dawn suddenly cut Chester off as she yelled out to him. "Five time Russian Champion!"
With a gasp, gone was Chester and out come the Olympic champion herself. "Svetlana makes her entrance!" Svetlana announced before quickly taking forward. She effortlessly jump across the long jump as the dogs barked at her, gracefully dodged the shivs that threatened to stab her, easily ducked and jumped under the food launched at her, flipped over the clouds of pepper spray, and danced around all the shots Chef took at her and reached the prison wall at the end. "I zink I beat my best time!"
"Quick! Start digging Svetlana!" Lincoln called out, playing along with the character Mike was being. Hey if it got them the win he could be a female Russian gymnast all he wanted.
"As you vish!" Svetlana then took out her spoon and began to work on digging the Gaffer's tunnel.
"Wow impressive," Trent told Dawn with a grin. "How'd you do that?"
"It's all about knowing the right triggers," Dawn told Trent with a wink.
CONFESSIONAL – Trent
"Come to think about it, I should've asked Dawn more about Mike's condition," Trent mentally facepalmed. Dawn would have been really helpful in learning about Mike's disorder. "Heh, that's my bad,"
"No! They already got a lead!" Ronnie Anne growled as she turned to her team. "Someone needs to go now!"
"I got this!" Izzy grinned as she ran forward. "I'm great at escaping the fuzz!"
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Given what I saw last season, I'm inclined to believe it," Ronnie Anne stated dryly.
"I'm up too!" Jasmine yelled out for the Gaffers as both she and Izzy took to the obstacle course at the same time. Both girls showed off their athleticism and were able to clear the course almost as quickly as Svetlana was with Jasmine joining the Russian gymnast in digging their team's tunnel and Izzy starting on her team's tunnel with the golden shovel. Jasmine was about to start digging with her spoon…but tossed it aside to begin shoveling dirt with her hands. "If we're gonna get this hole across we're gonna need some serious muscle power!"
CONFESSIONAL – Jasmine
"I gotta try and make it up to them," Jasmine stated, having no problems with shoveling the dirt with her hands. She wasn't the type of gal to complain about dirt under her nails. "I feel really bad about what I did to Harold. When my claustrophobia kicks in I get a bit…irrational."
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"Woooow…" Harold let out as he stared at his hands. "My hands are huge…"
"Alright! I'm next!" Tyler cheered as he took the course next for the Grips while Bridgette stepped up for the Gaffers. Bridgette easily cleared the long jump with Tyler getting a good running start. "Extrem-WOAH!"
But unfortunately for Tyler he ended up tripping as he was about to jump, leading him to fall down towards the dogs.
BARK! BARK! BARK!
BITE! BITE! BITE!
SCRATCH! SCRATCH! SCRATCH!
"OW! OW! OW! OW!" Tyler yelled out in pain as the dogs all bit and scratched him. Everyone watching winced as the jock desperately pulled himself out of the literal dog pile looking a bit beat up with his jump suit all torn up. "I'm ok! I'm o-Ow!" But Tyler then began getting poked by all the shivs, experiencing more pain. But he sucked it all up and ran to the next part. "I'm almost there! I'm almost-Gah!" Tyler was then shot by a ball of the prison food, sending him down to the ground.
CONFESSIONAL – Tyler
"Ugh, what is this stuff?" Tyler asked as he wiped the disgusting food off of him, gave it a quick sniff…and promptly barfed. "Bleeeeeh!"
"I can…do this…I can still do this…" Tyler resorted to crawling through the rest of the course. Which led to him crawling into a cloud of pepper spray. "AH! AH! MY EYES! I CAN'T SEE! OH IT BURNS!!!" Tyler then shot up and began randomly running around and eventually reached it to where Izzy was digging…and promptly ran head first into the wall. "Made it…" Tyler then fell to the ground unconscious.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
A hard slapping sound was heard as Ronnie Anne facepalmed.
And so more members of both teams kept going through the course. Soon Mike, who had turned back to normal in the middle of digging, Jasmine, Bridgette and DJ were all working on digging their hole and we're making some progress while Izzy, Lindsay and Justin were digging for the Grips with Tyler continuing to be unconscious.
"OW! OW! BAD DOGS! OW!" Owen yelled out as he, expectedly, failed the long jump and was at the dogs' mercy.
"Come on, come on," Trent let out as he continued through the course, managing to dodge the shivs only for Chef to shoot him right in the head. "OW!"
CONFESSIONAL - Chef
"Couldn't help it hehe," Chef grinned as he held the rifle over his shoulder. "Kid's head is just way to good a target,"
"Made…it…" Owen breathed out after emerging from a cloud of pepper sprays, his eyes now red with his vision completely blurry. But still, Owen rose up his shovel and charged. "Now let's do this! AAAAAAHHH!!" Owen let out a battle cry as he reached one of the holes and immediately began digging.
"Owen!" Ronnie Anne called out to the big guy.
"Come on guys!" Owen cheered the others on as he shoveled away piles of dirt. "Full speed!"
"Owen!" Ronnie Anne called out again, the Latina sounding very ticked off. "You're digging for their team!"
"Huh?" That got Owen to stop digging as he looked around, all the people around him looking blurry due to the pepper spray. "I am?"
"Hey," Jasmine spoke up, proving to Owen that he was helping the other team dig, Trent also being there with the guitarist having easily cleared the course before the big guy. "Don't let us stop ya mate,"
"Well…this is awkward…" Owen let out as he slowly left the hole while whistling.
"Oh forget this," Ronnie Anne growled out as she stepped up to the obstacle course next. "I gotta get over there and make sure this is done right!"
"And Ronnie Anne steps up to the plate!" Chris announced, watching the whole thing from a lawn chair with Lily and Edward sitting on one next to him. "Gee, I hope those dogs don't like Mexican food!"
"Oh yeah, REAL original McLain!" Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes as she got ready to jump.
"Chef!" Chris called out with a smirk.
Chef grinned and aimed at Ronnie Anne as she was about to jump and shot at her, leading to the Hispanic teen to be the dogs' next victim. "AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Ronnie Anne's cries of pain were heard.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"I will remember this…" Ronnie Anne growled out while covered in dog related injuries.
CONFESSIONAL – Lincoln
"Karma's a beautiful thing isn't it?" Lincoln couldn't help but laugh.
"I made it!" Dawn told everyone as she finished the obstacle next, having run through it after Ronnie Anne was thrown to the dogs.
"Quick! Get digging mate!" Jasmine told the aura reader as she and the others tried to scoop out dirt as fast as they could. "We need all hands on deck!"
"I can do you one better!" Dawn told them, an idea having formed in her head while doing the obstacle course. "Or six better!" Dawn then put her fingers to her mouth and let out a silent whistle. Everyone raised a brow at her, wondering why they couldn't hear anything, but then watched as the German Shepherds from the course stopped barking and immediately ran over to Dawn, sitting in front of her obediently.
"What?" Chris' eyes widened a bit.
"Awww, who's a bunch of good dogs! Oh you all are, yes you are!" Dawn told them all, leading to the dogs all crowding her and showing affection via licks to the face. "Heheh, that tickles! Think you can help us dig?" The dogs all barked before entering the Gaffers' hole and began digging at super speed.
"Wait! No!" Chris yelled out as he stood up from his seat and glared up at Chef. "Chef aren't the dogs under contract?!"
"They were!" Chef yelled back. "Then they ate their contracts!"
"Gah! Curse dogs and their urge to eat anything!" Chris yelled out in frustration. Just when he thinks he finally has the one up over Dawn when it comes to animal challenges then this stuff happens! Luckily, the host has a plan B. "Deputies! Take over for the dogs!" Lily and Edward both salute as they position themselves at the long jump. "Chef! Bring out the big guns!"
Chef grinned as he tossed away his rifle…and brought up a bazooka. The sight of it terrified the contestants, but they had to keep going. "Never! Say! Die!" Geoff yelled as he took the course next, managing to jump over Lily and Edward as they threw tranq balls and tried to slash at Geoff with their barbs respectively. But as Geoff made progress with the course Chef took the opportunity to aim at Geoff with the bazooka and proceeded to fire it at him. Geoff had no time to react as a glob of meat with noodles sticking out hit him in the face and sent him to the ground. "Uuuugh…"
"That's my own spaghetti and meatball surprise!" Chef announced as he reloaded his weapon. "Bon appetit!"
"Crap!" Lincoln yelled out as he took the course next, narrowing ducking under a meat wad Chef fired at him. "How is that legal!"
CONFESSIONAL – Chef
"When there's no cops around, anything's legal," Chef chuckled as he had his bazooka on his lap, petting it like a cat. "Ain't that right baby?"
"Ok Harold, you can do this," Leshawna told the ginger as she led him to the obstacle course. Considering Chris' rule she couldn't carry Harold across and with his head all shaken up Harold couldn't do this on his own. So hopefully she could maybe guide him. "Just go forward and I'll shout out what to do got it?"
"Totally!" A cross eyed Harold nodded his head. "Let's do this!" Harold was fully prepared to take on the course…before falling down flat on his face.
"Oh boy…" Leshawna facepalmed.
"Hah! Losers!" Heather mocked as she ran by, Leshawna growling in response. "I'll see you freaks in the winners circles!"
Heather then jumped over the high jump and joined her team to dig…until she felt something grab onto her leg. "Brbrbrb!" Edward growled out before
Pierce!
"OW!!!" Heather let out as Edward stabbed his bard into her. "Noooo…" And like that, Heather fell to the ground paralyzed.
"Ahahahahaha!" Leshawna laughed as she slapped her knee. "That's what you get girl!"
"With the Grips down by two and the Gaffers down by one but plus six furry little traitors, it's neck and neck!" Chris announced as he began heading to a door that led to the other side of the wall so he could see for himself who would win. "Who's gonna win folks?"
"Come on everyone!" Ronnie Anne yelled out to her team, both teams now underground and beginning to make their way up. "Dig faster!"
"Little problem with that," Justin told the Hispanic teen as he held up a horribly bent golden shovel. "Something tells me these are dollar store golden shovels."
"What?" Ronnie Anne asked as she and everyone else stopped digging and looked at their shovels. "Crap! Stupid golden tools!"
By some miracle both Harold and Heather were able to recover and barely cleared the obstacle course with Leshawna breezing through it. Now it was only a matter of who would emerge first. Chris waited behind the wall to see for himself and soon enough something began emerging from the ground.
"Bark! Bark!" A German Shepard was first to emerge its head, followed by Dawn.
"We did it!" Dawn cheered as she, all the dogs, and the Gaffers all emerged from the hole.
"Furry traitors…" Chris cursed the dogs as they all began licking and showing Dawn affection. Just then another hole appeared with Ronnie Anne and the Grips emerging out of it. "And look who it is, second place Grips! Keeping up the losing streak I see!"
"What?!" Heather shouted in anger. She got stung a third time for nothing!? "Again!?"
"Grrrrrr!" Ronnie Anne violently growled as she looked at the Gaffers with a face red with rage.
"Hey come on guys," Lincoln told the dogs as he approached Dawn. "She's my girl, leave some kisses for me,"
"Oh you~" Dawn rolled her eyes before kissing Lincoln on the lips. "Better~?"
"Much~" Lincoln grinned before he kissed Dawn as well. "Can't help it with you~"
"Enough of the mushy stuff in my presence," Chris yelled before clearing his throat. "Gaffers you won so you get today's reward!"
"Phew," Tyler, now conscious again, breathed a sigh of relief. "Just a reward again,"
"Two reward challenges in a row?" Mike blinked a bit at that. "Why's that?"
"After the last challenges producers thought you could all use a break," Chris explained with many of the contestants nodding in agreement. They could definitely understand that. "This was originally gonna be an elimination challenge, so Grips, count your lucky stars."
"So what did we win?" Leshawna asked.
"Gaffers, hope your sweet tooths are ready because you are gonna carry back all the candy you can shovel from a grand tour of The Big Candy House!" Chris announced as all the Gaffers put on an eager smile. "A local prison that was shut down after an inmate escaped and was turned into a candy factory!"
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"So two times in a row they go have fun and eat whatever they want while we're stuck at this stupid film lot with Chef's food!?" Ronnie Anne ranted before sighing sadly and looking down. "I miss Abuela's cooking…"
"Um, who was the inmate that escaped?" Bridgette asked as she raised her hand.
"No clue," Chris simply shrugged. "According to the records it was some dude who lost his hand in a butcher shop accident."
Dawn's eyes widened. Wow, small world.
LATER THAT DAY
Once again the Grips all watched as the Gaffers were heading out to enjoy their reward, Harold now looking recovered with his head bandaged up. "Hey Harold," Jasmine spoke up to the ginger as she looked at him sheepishly. "Sorry about…before. I kinda let my fears get the better of me…"
"It's ok," Harold reassured the Australian Amazon, showing there were no hard feelings. "Classic prison madness, it's to be expected."
"Hey Owen," Meanwhile with Dawn, the aura reader approached Owen before she left. In her hand was a necklace with a white crystal attached to it that she presented to the big guy. "I grabbed this for you, it's a special crystal that should numb the pain of your jaw and help it recover fast. Wanted to make sure I gave it to you before we left."
"Aw thanks!" Owen smiled as he put on the necklace before bringing Dawn in for a big bear hug, squeezing the wind out of her. "You're always so sweet!"
"You're…welcome…" Dawn let out as Owen squeezed her hard. "Ack! Owen…can't…breath…"
"Oops, sorry!" Owen apologized as he released Dawn, allowing her to take in some much needed air. "I hope you all have fun!" Dawn sent Owen a wave as she left with Izzy soon going to Owen's side. "Ya know it's probably good we didn't win, can't really enjoy candy right now."
"Well look on the bright side! You got plenty of sugar right here!" Izzy grinned flirtatiously as she gave Owen a big smooch. "Mmmmm~ I think I need more~"
"Oh real-woah!" Izzy then began dragging Owen away so they can enjoy some much needed sugar.
"Woah, wonder what those two are gonna get up to?" Chris laughed as he appeared on screen. "When the Gaffers return they'll come home with sacks full of candy while the Grips only get sacks of failures! Will they finally be able to turn their luck around? Will Izzy and Owen's relationship continue to thrive? And will I finally one up Dawn when it comes to animals involved in the challenges? Find out next time on Total. Drama. Action!"
