The winds carried whispers of their names.
In the trenches and among the trees, wherever the wounded were pulled from death's grip or enemies were struck down by unseen fists the names Senju Raizen and Might Fist were spoken like legends in the making.
They were no longer seen as boys.
They were warriors.
Every mission they took part in ended with survivors returning safely thanks to their strength, strange techniques and an unwavering will that refused to break under pressure.
Raizen stood atop a cliff watching the clouds drift. His eyes, sharper now, caught movement miles away. Mighty Fist approached, wiping blood from his face.
Might Fist: "Another skirmish. They keep probing our defenses."
Raizen: "They're trying to figure us out. Someone's planning something."
Word had spread. Iwagakure had noticed the change on the battlefield. For the first time in months, they were losing ground and their shinobi spoke in hushed tones about a boy with wooden roots and the strength of beast.
So they devised a plan.
Three days later, A unit of wounded Leaf shinobi was spotted near a ravine deep within a contested forest zone. The message reached the command post swiftly. Nara Shikaji frowned.
Shikaji: "This smells wrong."
Still, orders were given to save Konoha ninja.
Raizen, Might Fist, and a squad of six were sent to extract them.
The forest was silent as they advanced. Too silent. The leaves didn't rustle. The wind didn't blow. Raizen's instincts screamed he used his observation Haki.
Raizen: "Pull back. Now."
But it was too late.
Explosions erupted around them. Earth Release walls shot up, dividing the squad and Four figures descended from the treetops their chakra flaring with killing intent.
Iwagakure Jonin.
Raizen and Might Fist stood back to back. One Jonin rushed toward them. Might Fist immediately blocked him and soon they started fighting. The forest shook with their clash.
The remaining three surrounded Raizen.
Jonin 1: "You're Senju Raizen. Your bloodline ends here."
Raizen said nothing. His fists clenched and the air around him shimmered.
He vanished with Soru reappeared above and drove his foot down with Moonwalk striking one Jonin into the dirt.
But they were strong. One caught his ankle and hurled him into a mud. Another released a wave of earth spikes. they fought back and forth but taking on 3 Jonin without reveling his true power was not possible.
Raizen made up his mind
Raizen: "I didn't want to use it this early…"
He closed his eyes. The Kaido Templates Fish-Fish Fruit power surged within.

His arms rippled with transformation. His skin grew tougher. Claws pierced through his fingertips. A long tail lashed out behind him. His legs changed and cracked into dragon scale form and two horns burst from his forehead.
When he opened his eyes they glowed gold. slitted like a dragon's.
The Jonin paused, hesitating.
Raizen: "Now you have made me angry"
He roared to the sky. his roar was thunderous, booming, earth shattering and deafening.
He blew and a violent gust of bad wind surged forward, uprooting trees and flinging two Jonin away. they tried to run but Raizen opened his mouth exhaling a searing hot breath that scorched the ground and incinerated the earth beneath.
The third Iwa Jonin lunged at him Raizen caught him mid air, lifted him with one hand, and slammed him into the earth creating a crater.
Might Fist: "THIS IS THE POWER OF YOUTH!, Raizen!"
The battlefield fell silent for a breath and then, Raizen stepped forward. and unleashed it.
Conqueror's Haki.
Invisible lightning crackled. The trees shuddered. The air split. Dozens of enemy shinobi hidden in the brush watching and waiting for opportunity to strike collapsed instantly, eyes rolling back, bodies frozen.
Raizen and Might Fist retreated with other Konoha ninja who were injured leaving behind the Iwa ninja stunned.
At the command center, a messenger gasped.
Messenger: "Iwagakure fell back! Konoha squad returned alive! They say Senju Raizen… became a monster."
Shikaji lowered his fan. His lips barely moved.
Shikaji: "Monster?."
