I was travelling with ash for the time being. He was asking about my journey and I was asking about his.
We were resting for a bit when we saw a Oddish. "Wow I want to catch that Oddish" Misty said.
" But aren't you a water type trainer." I asked perplexed.
"It was near water so I will catch it." Okay no comments. Misty was trying to catch it when she noticed that the Oddish was a bit scared.
"She looks a bit scared." Misty said.
'We all noticed the same thing. Oh right this is the episode were Ash catches a Bulbasaur.'
Suddenly the Bulbasaur appeared being extremely wary. Ash wanted to catch it but I pulled him back while mentioning how wary it was. He reluctantly had to give up. We were walking by the path when I remember how the bridge breaks in anime and not wishing to take risks I asked all of them to go through the lush forest instead.
"But what's wrong with the bridge." Misty asked.
"The bridge rope is too weak. It would not be able to handle even one person. Though its strange how there is a bridge in the middle of the no where. Almost making me think of it as a trap." I said.
"Well we should go take a look at why a trap was placed here cause if it is indeed what it is then it can't be good." Brock stated.
"Well it could be for protection also. We should see if we can help in anyway if they need protection so much as to see a need to set traps." I said. We went through the lush forest. We encountered a series of traps. Honestly it was getting a bit irritating at this point. But we crossed through to find the village.
"Who are you all and what are you doing here." A girl with blue hair said and the bulbasaur besides her immediately growled at us.
"Hello beautiful I am Brock but you can call me your love too." We all sweat dropped at that.
Misty just pulled his ear." You never learn do you."
"Does Brock do that a lot" I asked to which Ash just laughed nervously.
I then pulled out my pokedex to show my identification. Upon knowing I am a trainer sponsere by Linda, then only she relaxed. She invited us in and explained to us how she takes care of the injured pokemon.
"Melanie how about converting this to a pokemon adoption centre" I said after much thinking. I mean seriously she is doing so much for these pokemon but it's unlikely she won't face difficulty as every project needs a minimum amount of investment to be successful. There medicine must not be cheap and plus her own survival must not be easy.
"Huh?" Everyone was surprised at that.
"You could turn this into a league authorized Pokemon adoption centre.
Pros: Free medicine, food and guaranteed protection for both you and the pokemon. An assigned nurse will be here for the pokemon.
Cons: Repeated updates on the pokemon. to the league and you have to stay under constant surveillance." I said.
"I need some time to think." She said.
"We will be here till tomorrow. I expect an answer till then." I said in a no nonsense tone.
Misty "Hey you can't be rude.-" "I am just being logical. How long do you think you can stay safe like this. What if team rocket comes and try to steal these pokemon." I said.
"Yeah the league can only protect you if you are under it. Otherwise the league won't be able to act. Plus all these must cost quite a good amount, there medicine and all I mean. You can get it from league if you agree to this offer" Brock said.
"Your own life will also be easy as you will get a salary too which will definitely help you." I said
We then left from there letting her think about it in peace and quite. I decided that it's been long since my pokemon rested so I sent them out. So did others.
"Go Combusken, Zubat, Cleffa, Pichu , Charmander, Bulbasaur." I sent out.
"Go Staryu, starmie, goldeen" Misty.
"Go Pikachu, Pidgeoto, Butterfree, sandslash" Ash.
"Go Geodude, Onix, zubat" Brock.
Everyone started playing. I was cooing about how cute the couple nidoran looked while playing with them. Ash was splashing water on staryu leading it to a small water fight between them. Misty was playing ball with Krabby and Pokiwhirl. Brock was taking care of Aipom and Abra.
Misty then tried to say sorry to Oddish but then bulbasaur attacked her.
"Hey what's your problem" Misty
"Stop bulbasaur" Melanie interveaned. She explained to us that bulbasaur was abandoned by his trainer and after getting treated here he has been protecting the village and helping injured pokemon. Suddenly team rocket appeared with a weird machine of theirs. Idiots. I did't wait for them and called my pokemon to attack them. Their machine broke.
"Hey our dialogue was not finished." They complained while blasting off.
"I am not ready for this BS" I muttered.
"I-I have decided." Melanie suddenly said. I turned around.
"I would like to accept your offer. I was scared of all the official stuff, but you are right. If I want the pokemon to be safe then this would be for the best." She said. I had asked Linda's help and she immediately contacted Mr Goodshow. We proceded with the documents and after contacting Mr Goodshow. It was official. Each adoption will cost 10,000 poke dollars. All the facilities will arrive by next week.
"I hope for you all to take two pokemon from here as a thanks for your help."
Ash got Bulbasaur and staryu. According to Melanie it would be best for bulbasaur if he moves away. Though ash had to battel the bulbasaur like original. Misty got Krabby and Poliwhirl. Brock got Abra and Aipom. I got the two nidoran couple. The nidoran male was shiny too Squee.
We all left from there on a happy note. Excited about our new pokemon.
